Well, Europe's border runs through Turkey and Azerbaijan. Russia for most part isn't European either, but eh.

    ...Morrocco?

  2. I would put Russia in Europe and Turkey outside of it because of where the majority of the population live. Azerbaijan is technically a grey area, but they're Iranian, so I regard it as Asia.

    And yes, Morocco.

Anything above 30 degrees latitude north doesn't count as Africa according to the International Broadcasting Union.

Russia is country near Moscow and to the Urals. Siberia is not Russia. The Russian Federation is a conglomerate of various countries, which share a common legislation and russian language. But in all these countries, people are very different.

I live in the south-western Siberia. And when I go into a neighbor region, I feel the differences in different things. Especially everything will be different in other parts of the Russian Federation. For example, I already wrote about the European part of Russia where Buddhists live.

  11. Russians, what kind of health care system do you have?

Now I hear that you have mandatory insurance or that Putin is trying to implement it/consider it. I know your former health care system had the physicians work as state employees with the health care being funded entirely at the public level. I am wondering if this remains true today or if you have a national health service like the UK where health care is a state supported commodity or if you have a national health insurance like Sweden where health care service is guaranteed?

Also do you know if physicians are still state employees or are they allowed to be private enterpreneurs? Also is your health care system still entirely publicly funded or do you have some private funds as well?

Maybe Denis can answer this. I'd tots appreciate if you can tell me what you know.

Ambulance is free. But it happens that in the hospital can offer the best medicine for pay.

Now only a employer pay health insurance for a employee.

People are wary of mandatory insurance. I think it's because people are not familiar with the capitalist world. Only 23 year. It is very short period. "the West" went to it for centuries, Russia suddenly plunged headlong into it. Because of this problems are everywhere, not just in Healthcare

Ofc, there are state employees and private enterpreneurs.

In private hospitals usually can get medical help faster. Well as state hospitals provide free services and paid services.

In different regions and even cities within the same region wages of state employees and quality of hospitals differ greatly. Quality of care is also different in different regions.

Also there are some of medications that are given to patients free of charge. this are insulin and medications that support people living with HIV.

Some high-tech operations are done for free of charge.. I have done such in 2009 in Moscow for 5-6 months after application. Crushing stones in the kidney through a small incision. But my mom is state physician may be therefore fairly quickly given the direction in Moscow hospital.

As for me, today the acute problem in Russia is ppl with HIV. Of today has about 1-1,5% of the population is 790,000 people with HIV. Most people with HIV through infected syringes. That is drug addicts. Only one third are infected through sex.

    Certainly cancer also causes problems

So are you saying only employers can give insurance? Or are there private insurance companies as well?

This sounds like the UK's NHS.

Well thank you for the detailed answer.

Ofc, various insurance companies offer their services. Including medical and life insurance. But I do not think that very many people voluntarily buy health insurance.

    How is NHS decrypted?

You mean how it's run? NHS has health care as a state supported commodity with public hospitals, clinics and some outpatient services but people can go to a private hospital for faster care. No mandatory insurance there as far as I'm aware. I think most of their health insurance comes from employer insurance too.

  18. I'm pretty sure, if Sasha Litvyak lived in our world, she would join Ukraine's side.

So much lies, shameless propaganda and prideful insanity...
