I think the M3 looks rather generic and it is overrated.

Both of those cars are great, but you can keep the M3 and the 'stang. My ratty old Malibu(not stock of course)covers both of 'em with more power and less weight. Sure it's a handful to drive at speed and the M3 and 'stang both routinely stomp my shit at autocrosses, but I'd never give it up for anything else.

I prefer an aggressive, monstro looking beast car over luxury or swift looking car. Hey, new mustangs and camaros looks better than other sport cars with their retro design. Actually, 90's BMW has better design than these days. I love their blocky nose and rounded lamps, slightly looks like muscle car.

Your pic shows a E24, and they were built from 1975 -1989 (this one is from the last series (1987-1989) ,so it isn´t a ´90s car.
Maybe you meant the E31, but I can only guess.
