I just checked WIKIpedia concerning this actress...
Tomoko Kawakami (川上 とも子 Kawakami Tomoko?, born 川上 倫子, April 25, 1971 — June 9, 2011) was a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo.
Having graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music, Kawakami was affiliated with Production Baobab at the time of her death.
She was best known for her roles in Revolutionary Girl Utena (as Utena Tenjou), Hikaru no Go (as Hikaru Shindou), Sgt. Frog (as Fuyuki Hinata), Harukanaru Toki no Naka de (as Akane Motomiya) and Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple (as Miu Furinji).
Kawakami died on June 9, 2011, aged 40, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

she was my favorite voice actress.
she was sublime, with most actors and actresses you can tell instantly that its them, but with her characters you could almost never tell it was the same person doing the voices.my heart and mind goes out to her family.

Damn I wish I'd known her name sooner she did ALOT of my favorite characters voices and after readeing that list I'm almost starting to tear up it's so sad.

She did a few characters I liked, so I dont take it as a great personal loss. Yet she had a great career and she was good at her craft, so it is a great loss to the community at large, and I do extend my condolences to all of you who grief her as a personal favorite.
