don't worry aboot it, its pur-r-r-r-fectly nomral.
carrots are actually a good food, as long as you get them young (like loli). Not left too long in the field, where they grow fat and tough, with cracks and sand stuck in the cracks (which sux).
I like the fresh crisp and just tender ones that won't fuck up your dental work when munching on them -raw, why peel them? I'll eat the carrot and the stems if they're still attached.
