I liked it more when it was the No Games Portable (NGP)....
Ehh... Vita might be a stupid name, but at least it's not innately contradictory like NGP. Waht's beyond the NExt Generation Portable? The Further Generation Portable?
Also, this sounds more interesting than the headache inducing 3ds. I played pilotwings for all of about 15seconds before I had to turn the 3d effect down from 100% to abotu 25%.
Guess I'm finally quitting console/portable gaming, quit console a couple generations ago, now that portables are starting to become what current consoles are I'll just end up quitting them too.

and with a contract are usually 100+
I don't really think it's that expensive and I don't think the name is bad,
though for some reason it feels European.

Yeah... a better wireless internet connection than those stupid edge and gprs.
250 bones isn't to bad considering it's a quad-core.
Vita is short for Vitameatavegemin.
