Most of the time, i cant even tell that's her unless i dig through ANN (Not for Kokoro Connect though, since she use her natural voice and i can tell that's her)

Seriously? I think she has a unique voice, I can always tell it's her the second I hear her character speak. Well, she's my favourite female seiyuu, after all.
I find most female seiyuus sound pretty much the same, maybe cause they're all trying to fake a moe voice. Satomi Satou for example, Chitanda's seiyuu, see how annoying her real voice is xD (Minute 04)---> http://soundcloud.com/bokunosaturnga/07-01

    *fangirls over Sakaguchi-san's laugh*

    So, Hyouka's last episode...
    Just, Houtarou, WHAT ARE YOU?!

I feel really bad about Satoshi, I totally get how he's feeling and it makes me wanna hug the screen and sing him to sleep. I wish he'd let Mayaka in, at least...
    That Tanabe-senpai... SLY RAT!

Satoshi's feelings in respect to Houtarou are probably my favourite thing about the character depth in Hyouka. All characters are just so perfect♥

  4. Hyouka is one of those anime's that I wish never ends.
.. If they can keep this up of course.

Accel world turned crap in the last few episodes. I'm not going to drop it, but it's a shame since it started pretty sweet.

  7. I gave up Hayate S2 after 12 eps and now I'm watching Hyakka Ryouran(one of my all time favorites).
I thought that after not practicing for a month, my understanding of Japanese is worse, but actually I can understand every line. Also, I turn off the subs, because it's annoying when they translate it in an other style than you would.

I am watching Tari Tari myself, and yeah, I would recommend it. Not as strongly as Kokoro Connect mind you, but it is a good show. It's a far better attempt at an original Anime on PA Works part than Hanasaku Iroha to be sure, but that by itself does not say much.

It's a far slower paced show than Kokoro Connect is, which is one thing I do enjoy. Tari Tari is however a somewhat different type of show than Kokoro Connect. Both are dramas of a sort, but Kokoro Connect is far more arc-based whilst Tari Tari is far more like a Slice of Life, and the mood associated with SoLs is far more present in Tari Tari. The relaxed and calming feel one gets from watching a SoL mixes in with some nicely done (and extremely well paced) character drama and interaction, done in a satisfying and steady tone. Tari Tari however has far less dramatic content as it is a different type of show, and there is nothing wrong with that alone.

Even now talking about it, I am having trouble coming up with things I really dislike about it. It has excellent pacing that takes the events in stride without breaking the calm SoL atmosphere of the show, it looks excellent, and the show has some genuinely interesting and engaging character drama concerning Wakana and her late mother's relationship. If I think as objectively as possible, there is very little I can level against the show. But at the end of the day, even though I enjoy it whenever a new episode comes out, I am slow to see them (as opposed to how I rush to see the newest Kokoro Connect, Hyouka, Joshiraku or Lagrange).

I suppose the biggest sin the show commits, is simply that I find it kind of boring, regardless of the fact that I think Tari Tari is good on some objective level. I guess it just really comes down to the fact that I do not care for Tari Tari's characters that much. I do like how Wakana's development was handled in that none of her friends explicitly try to solve her problems, but just try to be close and give friendly support when needed, and she mostly pulls through her grief by herself. I do enjoy the fact that Wiin became more than just a continuous string of "Gaijin who does silly things because he doesn't know the culture" jokes, and I kind of like the juxtaposition of the fact that Sawa has the most traditional hobbies (Equestrianism and Archery) yet is probably one of the most laid back of the group. It's just that beyond those things, none of the characters really clicked with me. Sure, Konatsu maybe a better done version of Ohana, but I still don't find her presence to be particularly interesting. The character dynamics (something that SoLs must have down pat so as to be entertaining) I find very middling, nothing that overtly annoys or angers me but nothing that really enthralls me either. I may like the story Wakana got, but I'm still not much fond of her, nor do I openly dislike her. I find that a lot of the interesting character dynamic for which I like in SoLs to be not strongly present here. I am also mostly indifferent to the characters (except possibly Sawa), an element which is very important to me.

Whilst the show has really good pacing, looks very nice, and does have it's moments of good character-based drama and interesting dynamics, I find the show rather middling otherwise. I find myself unable to really get into any of the characters yet also unable to forsake them either, and I don't care much for the character interactions as a result. I think that this is a well made and put together show that some people will like, it's just that I don't get excited over it and find it just "good" at best.

    My feels exactly.
I think the story is ok, I don't mind watching the slow sol type animu, but I just don't root for any of them. If I had to choose, I'd say my favourite character is Wein, just because I find him funny and because his eagerness to learn about this new culture he has submerged himself in is plain adorable.

  14. Finished watching Tari tari until ep.7...

My initial impression...nice choir anime, they really go all out with the jargon and singing choir, which is quite in harmony and easy to listen to. The story pacing is pretty good too, lacking of drama though...

My biggest problem is, i cant like any of the characters....they seems colourless...even for slice of life, you can always make a char stand-up without have to rely on appearance. Tari Tari fail to deliver thing that make us love a character.

I know this sound horrible, but i think doujin of Sawa and her horse is inevitable...
she has nice body, big tits, love horse...it's coming on next comiket...
