I've been in the mood to watch Naruto, Yugioh, and pokemon lately.

Even though the mini Chitandas are dressed as angels, the longer I watched it the more demonic the Chitandas seemed.
Probably cus they are drawn red in the head.

There's NOTHING wrong with a "Wall of text" when you have points to make. Just admit YOU'RE Lazy or it's too taxing to READ whole thought forms.
I'm NOT attacking you!... just commenting on the "Wall of text" comment.
I will admit that Im lazy at times, but when you dont really have the time and just wanna know the point, it really helps, and I dont take attack personally, you can come at me it will just disappear the next day I wake up.

Moretsu has had its declining moments that's for sure and true.
I kinda agree with this, but the next episode seems promising on the story part, I think they might end the series with the next 4-5 episode with that arc.

Anyway, I watched episode 6 of Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan. I was getting quite bored with the show because it was way too slow, way too happy, and there wasn't enough drama or development to really keep me interested, but then, CAT GIRL!!! Who also turns out to be a thief of some sort, I'm assuming I'll find out more in episode 7. I'm not even mad with the series anymore, all has been redeemed. =D

Haha. Yeah, I just watched it. Figures.
Oh well. I still like the cute cat girl, so seeing her again was good enough. Is episode 8 any better? They foreshadowed some sort of drama in episode 7 so I really hope so.

I'm watching Shining Hearts as well, and I'm sorry to say that nothing else really happens in ep.8, we were hinted to drama and once again nothing really happens.
In what we have seen now, ep.6 is basically the most drama we have seen (as well as the island narrowly getting blown off the face of the earth by that massive ship. Mood whiplash much?) and even after that we're back to the happiness. Also with episode 8, I'm beginning to wonder who WASN'T washed up on shore some time ago. Is there nobody on this island who is actually from the damn place? And why is it that there are so many people that were shipwrecked on the island, yet Rick is treated as being somewhat odd for wanting to know about his past? Why is everyone on this island so mellow, even though it looks like there is some nasty darkness lurking beneath the surface?
We are presented with situations (multiple ones now) where the island is not shown to be as idyllic as once thought (Royals keeping secrets, massive battleship was inches from obliterating the town, a unusual number of people washed up on the island and have no memories of their prior lives, Xiao Mei is a Robin Hood figure and Hank the blacksmith seems to be hiding a Mecha Musume of destruction). But the show itself seems intent on burying these potential points of conflict in exchange for more smiles and tasty baked goods. If you want to make an SoL that's fine, but don't put all these dramatic elements in it and not address them. It's absurdly annoying.
And then there's the fact I don't really enjoy any of the characters beyond the fact that the character design was done by Tony Taka and his females give me raging hard-ons. Animation and visuals are also very meh for something done by Production I.G., and the story has no idea what it wants to do or even be. There is very little I like about the Anime and I honestly don't know why I stuck with it for this long. Maybe it's because of Tony Taka, or maybe it's just because I want my questions answered.
I wonder if the game is any better?
But, at least the girls are really damn cute...

I've watched episode 8 now, and you've done a really great job at summing the series up so far.
To coincide with the royals hiding things, the prince obviously knows the origins as to why people are washing up on shore. We gathered that much when he mentioned knowing that Rick was washed up as well, and that he knows/gets out more than his sister. Then Xiao Mei also alluded to that idea when she said something about the prince testing Rick because why would he want a simple baker to pursue a thief?
Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I'm beginning to come around to the series. It's filled with mystery right now and I like that. Whether that mystery is the result of bad writing and terrible plot progression, or an intended part of the story, I don't know. I think for the benefit of myself and the show, I'll just assume that it's all for the story and when everything is finally revealed, it will be a great development.

Honestly I want to like the series myself. The questions raised can be very interesting if they actually pan out properly. I just hope that some of the questions can be answered soon. You can't bait someone with a carrot above their heads forever. You need to give them some immediate reward (even if it is a tiny one) to encourage people to go forward, otherwise they'll get disinterested in a future reward that seems unobtainable and just give up.
Though at this point, I haven't given up. As you said there is some intrigue here, and the mystery has technically done it's job of getting to come back, whether it was intentionally written as such or just a byproduct of poor pacing as you again said. Right now it's in this weird middling limbo to me, I don't anticipate it each week nor am I excited for new episodes (like Acchi Kocchi, Jormungand or Lupin III is for me), but it's still not overtly bad enough for me to just drop it outright (like Guilty Crown was for me). I want to like it more, and I think that if some changes in focus are made, it could become more than me lusting over Tony Taka's Bishoujo.

It has only 4 or 5 episodes left I think. I doubt they can come out with a clean and nice ending, they have been wasting too much episode on bread making etc, the story is supposingly suppose to center around Kaguya and things about she getting her memory and emotion back (and was actually hinted that Rick did met her before), at first when she drifted onto the island, the plot is suppose to get moving, but no she slept for the entire episode up until now, they dint even bother to explain the crystal she brought with her, they decided to introduce character like the 2 Elves, Melty, that android, pirates and not giving them much role. I was actually hoping for them to follow the plot from the game but seems, like its just a slice of life bread making, slight mystery, action anime thats full of HAPPINESS just by eating BREAD.

I can't even play the game however, as I have a 3DS, not a PSP.

Yep, that's about it actually, though nothing wrong with it if your like happiness and bread making.
I guess its a change from the (usual) so I give it credit for that and for being extremely different.
I am saddened to know that - Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? - just has one more episode before it ends....
however (rumour has it) that it will continue with a possible - feature film.
This seems to be a trend now, as more and more anime are ending quickly or with open endings... (only) to have a film made for continuation, closure, or for a possible lead for a 3rd season.

I do have a PSP, but from the looks of it, Shining Hearts wasn't released in America and so I doubt it's in English (is it?). Otherwise, I probably would have picked it up by now.
I really don't think it's all that bad though. I do wish it would have progressed differently so that we could have had a more dramatic story, but so long as it ends on a somewhat decent note, I won't mind. Perhaps some OVAS in the future will clear the rest up?
Anyway, aside from Shining Hearts, I just caught up on the four episodes I've been behind on Tsuritama. I'm really enjoying it. Like Shining Hearts, I think it could benefit from moving a bit faster because it only has 4-5 episodes left with what I feel is a lot to cover. The latest episode (episode 8) did just set off the event I've been waiting for the entire time though. We now know what is in the ocean and the Duck Organization is finally making their move, so everything is set in motion to become wrapped up in time for the finale. It's been an interesting series though. I like the mixture of Paranormal meets slice of life. I feel refreshed when I watch it. It's not too happy, but just enough to be an uplifting watch.

Im ok with it tho, afterall I've watch up till episode 8, I see no point in dropping it now, just that they can actually just follow the game and make a nice fantasy, full action kinda series, everything is all set, but they went another way.

But before that there is gonna be another OVA release on 20 Oct 2012, If you count the prequel OVA its actually 10 Episode + 2 OVA.
