Its actually shounen. Other that that little thing between Kuroyukihime and Haruyuki I dont see anything in romance.

And probably will be the nail to the coffin for me. The reason why it's a "little thing" because the author probably would not want to go into that direction.

It could be a romance with some shounen to add up the spice, but as expected, its always the reverse since that's what generate more money than romance genre.

I prefer Rumiko Takahashi work. She always put both romance and action on same level, and probably the reason why InuYasha is the only Shounen manga i've ever finished reading it.

The Inuyasha anime was one of the first I ever saw, and it remains one of my favorites. However, my love for it only extends to the first two seasons, namely until the point Ryukotsusei is killed. Everything after just seems so repetitive and cliched. The mystery and darkness is significantly lessened thereafter, too. I am looking forward to seeing The Final Act, since I've heard good things, and I want to see a proper conclusion.

  3. I never watch inu yasha anime, but you could say that for almost all other shounen stuff, its always repetitive process with some twist toward the action.

That's why if i wanna read some shounen, they better have good romance to support it. Not just puppy love, and then suddenly end it with marriage. Need some proper build up romance development to make it interesting

  4. Anyone watch this? ONA or Prelude - Sakasama no Patema - Beginning Of The Day

Kinda Interesting. The Underground City is pretty cool.

Yes, I watched it and ndeed its interesting enough to garner attention.

Its pretty well done, the story catching my attention, and it reminds me allot of - "The Borrower Arrietty".

Hoping to see further progression to this...

Btw, to me, I think they're in a missile silo - but that's just my assumption

  6. Saki's skipping so much. They didn't even give that tomboy from senriyama a chance to show off her skillz and she's supposed to be really good. Also, Ako's their best player? Didn't know that. It looks like Achiga will be able to get second place, which will keep them in for the semifinals. But I doubt they can surpass senriyama right now.

I heard its a prelude to a movie? If its a missile silo aint it too big? And that person that walks on the ceiling, interest me to wonder which one of them is actually walking on the floor.

Its a confusing sentence. If they cant beat Senriyama how they get second place? IIRC Senriyama is the one that Kuro lost to in the first match? Btw haven watch the latest yet.

Top two teams from this match move onto the semifinals. If they get the second highest points in this match, they can still proceed in the tournament.

Ahh, so they win by points not by the player, I keep forgetting this -.-

  10. It's currently what? 160k points for Senriyama against their 80k?
They're still second place though. But yeah unless Arata somehow activates her haxing skills next match they won't be able to beat Osaka.
How did Kuro even lost so many points in the first place?

Well definitely not Shizu, but for a best player she didn't really do all that good.

The third match was very moderate. No one really did all that well. At least Ako brought them back from last. I figured Arata would be their best player. There hasn't been enough build up or show of skill for Shizu. Does she even know how to play?

According to character profiles on MAL, back in middle school, before the group got disbanded, the power levels were
    Kuro was the strongest
    Shizuno was 2nd strongest
    Ako was 3rd strongest

But that order probably got all switched around since they've been training.

I... have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't.
She doesn't seem very threatening that's for sure.

It's curious as to why they're saving her for last though.
Either she's gonna miraculously save the whole Achiga team or screw everything up.

Well that sure changed, didn't it?

No. You don't get to cry. Your entire team may have lost because you were too busy playing around with your "attracting certain type of tiles" magical powers which bit you in the ass.

That's right, you let everyone down. Let's just hope Arata and Shizuno aren't as useless.

  18. I have failed to skip Hyouka's ED for the 4th time.

  19. Watched all currently aired eps of Akibaranger.

Since I'm also one of those people who grew up watching a handful of sentai shows, the older references had me hooked, especially the early part of ep.1 where Nobuo is tempted by a very expensive Maskman Great Five Robot set but resists because of his equally strong devotion to Z-Cune.

He leaves the revered toy with the words 君と出会えてよかった! (I'm glad to have met you!), a lyric part of "Ai No Senshi" (Hikari Sentai Maskman's ED theme).

  20. I just watched the fourth episode of Hyouka. As per the rest of the episodes, this one was also pretty slow and uneventful. I'm still enjoying it because I like mystery, but it could stand to introduce some drama sometime soon.
