So I re-watched NGE this pass weekend and I missed a couple episodes because I guess I missed the part where it totally fucking sucked horse cock at the end.
I just watched Another... after getting it from a friend a month ago.
I read the mange even before the anime came out and followed the manga instead after seeing the anime's character designs. I had to push myself into watching the anime.
I don't know really, the designs for the anime were quite cute and didn't feel like they fit the dark atmosphere. A good point is the difference in the flow of the story and a few twists.
On a different note, Nisemonogatari wasted my time.

I liked the first season of the show, but the second season just doesn't do it for me. I watch like 3 o 4 episodes then dropped it. same with accel world. I've watched the most recent episode and I think i'm just going to be done with it. It was kinda on the fence for a while but it's kinda lame so I'll just have to settle for the other3 anime that I'm watching, and loving.
This show is just asking for doujins at this point.

Yumeria? In regular clothing? Is that even possible? I think she's in cosplay mode permanent. But I'd be pretty funny if she lost her otaku/fujoshi/cosplay powers in one episode due to some unforeseen circumstances and they have to get her back to non-normal.

Finished the last episode of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. It was entertaining, but the way it ended kind of pissed me off. More was changed from the novel than was necessary. I mean, Edmond dies after some ancient space demon leaves him? WTF? Albert never failed to irritate me to the very end. Franz was pretty cool, though; I'm not into shounen-ai, but his story was quite tragic, all the same.
Overall, my favorite things about this series were the unmoving patterns of the artwork and the characterization of the Count, his enemies, and his collaborators.
