^ It's not shown running down objects nor does it take 5 panels for her to just get it on to her finger. The anime uses the saliva itself much more than the manga did. At some point, they don't even show it all the time anymore. She'll say it's time, they show like their silhouettes from the side view of the bridge and then back to the story,.

For the hell of it, I tried to watch that AKB0048 anime.
As I had thought, it only served to amplify my hate for this whole idol scheme. I am never watching it again unless someone Rick-rolls me into it.
