i don't mind her face because that's probably how the other players would look at her anyway. bet she's lost in the hallway :3 and wanted to grope nodochi's watermelons..

I also like the way Kiritsugu's character contrasts with Shiro's. They both share the same goal of wanting to help people, but they go about it in completely opposite ways (and both ways cause other characters and fans of the series to dislike them).
LOL - I like Kiritsugu's badass merciless moments. The scene where he went through torture just to make bullets made of his own mana & blood so he could shoot another Maji with a real gun- lol. That shit is priceless. Sometimes you need a 'Good'-Bad man and Anti- hero of sorts.
I think it's why most people like Batman more than Superman or why Raushack is the true heart & hero in "Watchmen".
Shiro is idealistic but not "realistic" - it's ironic when you see Archer in "Unlimited Blade works" you gotta wonder how this Grail War would go down if Kiritsugu was to fight Rin & Archer instead of Shiro.

The OP starts off great, as I stated, its just the yelling of chorus in the 2nd half of the OP that bothers me... it doesn't - "fit" - the mood of the show imo...
when the drum sticks (assuming here) - "hit" - slight pause - and the singing starts, it has that explosive kick and they fit well... its past that.. that it falls short.
I bless & credit this show with introducing me to Momoiro Clover Z. I never get tired of this opening song...

I'm convinced that this new season of Saki is actually just an excuse to introduce new characters while still focusing on the old saki characters. C'mon, they sped through the preliminaries in 5 minutes that took 20 episodes in the original series. Anyway, it looks like the new team is pretty good(lol @ bansei getting schooled), but they still couldn't beat ryuumonbuchi. It's just the creator's clever way of introducing new rivals in a way that makes you more sympathetic to them just before they get crushed by these monster teams. Or at least that's what I'm hoping anyway. Geez, Saki's so epic.
Btw, watching Upotte makes me wanna buy an airsoft gun. My brother has a few. I wanna get an M14(just 'cause I like M14's but for Upotte, I like Elle).

The story of Saki and this Saki II is suppose to happen at the same time but different school's point of view, yet I dont remember seeing Achiga High in the previous Saki or is this actually continued from where the first Saki stop at (from what I remember that series end half way into the match. Or did they win?), but using diff school to continue into the match? And Bansai High wasnt even in the opening LOL.

Probably because unlike the first Saki this one's going to be only 12 episodes long.
So they can't really afford to make 20 episodes of preliminaries.As for Upotte, if I had to choose I'd probably buy a Funco or a Jiisuri loli imouto.

They're in different regions so they don't have a chance to interact with each other until they reach the nationals, which they did in ep3 in this season, and ep 25 of the first season. Kiyosumi(saki's school) won their prefectural tournament. The first season ended with a training camp right before the nationals. From here on out, it's gonna be a continuation into the nationals.
Imo, Kiyosumi is probably the top teir team to win the nationals, unless Saki's sister's school stops them. Achiga(the new girls) fought every 2nd ranked school in the region and beat almost all of them except Ryuumonbuchi, indicating that Kiyosumi's region was the only one that had stiff competition.

Arashi no Yoru ni: Himitsu no Tomodachi
Despite all the crap I was giving it before when I saw the spring line-up, this show is actually extremely cute. Yes it's a bit absurd because it's a goat and a wolf pretty much hanging out with each other, but after seeing the first episode I find it quite charming. The first episode is about how it is storming pretty bad out in the woods and the goat runs into this shack. A few moments later in hobbles the wolf because he has sprained his ankle. It's very dark so they couldn't see each other even with the opportunities such as lighting striking and emitting light, but even then the wolf had his eyes closed and the goat was cowering at the loud noise. They talked about how similar they are because of their interests and each considers the other to be the same species even without seeing each other. After the storm subsides they decide to meet each other at the shack the next day and call out "one stormy night" as their secret code just to know that they are the same two who were int he shack the previous day. The wolf leaves first and then the goat follows. The next day they meet up for lunch and find out that they are both different species and they seem pretty okay with it. The wolf especially because he says that he treasures friendship above all else and this makes him not want to eat the wolf. The goat takes him to a high hill up a mountain to view the valley, but he winds up dropping his lunch off the mountain while jumping over a gap whereas the goat jumps it with ease and keeps her lunch. When they get to the hill she eats her food and he's pouting because he is hungry and eying the little goat. She doesn't seem to notice and takes a nap and then he moves in as if he wants to eat her, but she wakes up again... And blah blah blah they are friends and stuff. Anyways, it's very cute so far and the 3D animation is actually very good.
I kind of wish there would be an American version soon because I think my younger sister would like watching this on tv. It's great for kids.

That's what I believe anyway.
Yes, Ryuumonbuchi faced Kiyosumi in the prefecturals. Kiyosumi won, securing their place in the nationals.
Other information:
Sangamaki High's Arakawa Kei came in second at last year's nationals, so theoretically, the only person that beat her was Saki's sister. If I remember correctly, Saki's sister won the nationals last year.
Senriyama is ranked second in the country, and the strongest school in the Kansai region. First ranked might be Saki's sister's school.
