Yeah, the problem is that with the way E7 ended some things don't make sense at all if this is indeed after it.
I've just watched episode 1 and I kinda like it, even in the first episode its hinted that he is Eureka's son, and from the looks of the preview he is gonna pilot his mom mecha next. o.O

It was all ok, i expect it to be bitter sweet romance with student council theme, and it go pretty decent. Until....
The Flask Plan come in....and here we go Akatsuki, Espada and other typical oh-so-powerful group of people.
I know that's how Shounen series roll, and that's why i drop it instantly when Medaka Box decide to go that path. Yes, shounen with insert romance element to bring more audience. But its still shounen stuff
I watched the first episode of Cross Game again. Do I have to cry every time?

I barely hear any complains about the art, though I agree it's not the best. The story and Medaka are usually the two main reasons I've seen most people give for disliking the series.
I had liked the slice-of-life and comedy theme from the beginning of the story. It then immediately turn ridiculous to follow up when it turn into shounen. The art isn't that bad in my opinion.

It is sad how manga have turned today, if they want to stay alive, they have to go for safety zone of manga genre. It ensure long story by introducing more and more characters, with less creative thought on the storyline.
I've watched a few shows from the new season. I've decided on my lineup for this season.
Fate/Zero - Obviously gotta finish this. Still lookin' gorgeous Gilgamesh.
Upotte!! - Surprisingly fun. Especially for gun-ota.
Accel World - The protagonist's design is unique. If you think about it, there aren't many fat protagonists in anime. Maybe some side characters, but the main protagonist is usually nerdy but thin.
Saki: Side A - I can't help but constantly compare these girls to the original Saki cast. Saki's gonna wipe the floor with these noobs.
Recorder to Randoseru Re - Most entertaining 3 minute show imo. I wanna see Atsumi get mad more often. You see a glimpse of her getting pissed on the last ep of the first season.
Shows I'm not gonna follow(yet)
Sankarea - seems interesting, but I'll have to wait till it picks up before I commit to watching it weekly. I'll be downloading it in the meantime. Expecting fatherxdaughter incest hentai.
Medaka Box - a bit of a let down. I thought it was gonna be better from all the hype people were giving it. Not bad, but not worth it.
Mysterious girlfriend x - weird. It'll probably get more interesting, but I'm on the fence on it till it gets better.

What hype were people giving it? If you're talking about fat girls getting excited about their new Gainax anime, that's because they're girls. Girls like shounen and girls like Gainax. But if you're talking about actual humans, I only heard people warning about Gainax adaptations.
