Depleted Uranium Ammunition

  1. In war, the advantages of Depleted Uranium munitions help the United States stomp other countries into the ground.

The United States and its NATO allies maintain that Depleted Uranium dust (a by-product) doesn't cause cancer and birth defects, however, 136 countries are siting other research saying that it does.

Which side do you think is right?

I think my hemmorrhoid is finally decreasing in size a little. It does keep getting itchy though--I think I've just not been able to clean it enough after pooping. But at least I can scratch it without it hurting. Just got to make sure I don't press too hard.

Having a sedentary lifestyle is all the rage these day, gaiz. Get with the trend.
But I think I just excercised a little too much pressure in the past. Gotta finish that poop before the next match on that MMO starts, right?

Odd thread for this site. But this old soldier is well aware of the problems the US would face if it admitted to the world their armour defeating mega ammo had serious side effects when used.

You will hear big oil and the tobacco lobby admitting defeat long before the US says anything negative about depleted uranium ammo.

  15. depleted uranium is just that, uranium that only has very small trace amounts of radioactivity left, probably less than what's in tokyo water right now. so whats worse, we stop using it and 1 out of 100000 are spared cancerous growths over the next 50 yrs, or using it and murdering the fck out of 100's if not 1000's of tanks over the next 50 yrs? actually since i put it that way, war is bad. but blowing stuff up is still fine.

  16. DU is only used for armored targets, the A-10's gatling cannon use it because it has better armor piercing capabilities... however it can still cause radiation....

If you believe what the US-NATO says, then why is there something called "Gulf War syndrome"?

So then why do only veterans from the Gulf War suffer from it and not vets from today's conflicts? It's a result of the drug cocktails given to soldiers to counteract the biological/chemical weapons they anticipated they would face. I know, my sisters ex is a Gulf War vet.

Anyways, this thread should be closed already, it's a dupe of this one: http://www.sankakucomplex.com/forums/topic.php?id=11185
