   Gravure idol Uehara Miyu has committed suicide at the mere age of 24! Apparently she was found hanged in her apartment today, police are currently treating this death as a suicide.

   She was rushed to the hospital where she died an hour and a half after arriving.

   She wrote this on her blog two days before she took her life:
   “I hated the sky today. In reality, I can’t "do" love. I used to always be in a relationship, but I’m losing my understanding of how to love or to have a romance.”

   Way too young.

   I'm neither for or against suicide. I'm just pointing that it would take an immense amount of balls to overcome your most primal instinct: remaining alive.

    Its not a matter of having the balls, its a matter of being so horribly depressed that your inhibitions no longer exist. People will, for the most part, always take the path of least resistance in everything. The ultimate form of that is killing yourself, since that allows you to get out of EVERYTHING, good or bad. When you're as horribly depressed as this woman probably was, your drive for self-preservation is the least of your concerns. You just want your pain to go away, and ending your life is the quickest and most efficient way to make that happen.
