I always felt they were due for a remake, from the trailer alone I hope the animation gets better (seriously, by today standards it doesnt look all that), BUT it looks as it they developed the story a bit better, which is all I ever wanted out of a Thundercats remake. Oh and the uniforms look less retarded (as in, less spandex like looking) and what? no Panthro?! fucking racists! XD

I just love how anime haters who like Thundercats hate this because it's being animated by the Japanese when the original was animated by the Japanese. People's stupidity is funny.
As for my opinion of the show. I'll watch it if I don't have to download it. I don't have sat or cable TV. It has to be internet stream for me.

Now as for my take on it CLOTHES WHY THE HELL DO THEY WEAR CLOTHES.MMhmm now i should clarify that in the first episode they were naked and it was outright said that on their native planet they did not need clothes. Oh and don't pull the war as reason they were at war with the mutants on their homeworld as well.
Other than that and maybe a few other things yeah it looks interesting and i'm probably watch it.

Thundercats is like the last remaining prominent 80's cartoon to get remade, and it's about time......
and the people who bitch about animation..... who cares who animates it... just cheaper in japan. rather pay an american more to get medicore animation or a japanese less and get well.. medicore or superb depending on their off days
the remake was long over due i hope they dont stop mid way like he-man's remake, or screw up like that transformers armada remake. few things were wrong with the sequels and then just too many crappy versions with crappy stories. thats just some of my fears. but the story approach they took seems pretty nice.

I agree Transformers was just really bad. Some remakes I actually liked recently on a different note are Gatchaman, Karas and yatterman. Man I love Tatsunoko Characters.
