   The May issue of Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine is announcing on Saturday that "still more anime" of Sekina Aoi's Seitokai no Ichizon (Student Council's Discretion) light novel series is in the works. The light novels already inspired a television anime series in 2009.

   The comedy revolves around Ken Sugisaki, a boy who is forced into the student council of his private high school. He is the only boy on the council, where he is surrounded by cute girls.

   Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint has published nine main volumes and four spinoff books in the series since January 2008. H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ manga artist Kira Inugami draws the illustrations in the novels. There have also been three different manga versions, including the main one by 10mo in Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Age Pure and Monthly Dragon Age magazines.

   The media-distribution website Crunchyroll has been streaming the anime series outside Japan since last December.

   ah that's true - it's written so boringly as well; probably by one of those moralfag buggers who complain about 'moe' anime and etc - ann's full of them these days.

   the whole anime community seems to be full of them these days actually.

   the whole 'anime sucks these days' complaint imo is just an excuse to still consider yourself an anime fan just so that you feel as if you belong in the group.. how distasteful.

   if you don't regularly watch anime, no matter what era, no matter what genre, then you aren't a true anime fan imo.

   This right here i fully agree with. Righ now for instance i'm watching Tekkaman Blade an early 90s series but at the same time with a frined I'm watching Isekai no Sekishi Monogatari and soon to be Shakugan no Shana while each friday i watch Index S2. That's about 2-3 generations right there. But ALOT of people bitch either about older or newer art styles or about how a series is too cute or action oriented. Ok the last one i can get(not agree with but get) but the WORST thing i hear ALL THE TIME is a guy saying he's an anime fan cause he likes Naruto and Bleach then asking for series like them with no real drama and plenty of action. I swear those last guys PISS ME OFF. See i can get that Bleach and Naruto aren't the worst thing ever made just fine i enjoy them too but saying that JUST liking those two makes you an anime fan and then asking fo series that lack the VERY thing that tends to set anime apart is just WRONG in my mind. Not to mention almost impossible to supply or that even Bleach and Naruto have some drama so i can't even figure out WTF are they even asking for or how much drama is okay.

   I absolutely hate the "all new anime suck" complaints that a lot of anime fans seem to have. I stopped reading the comments on the anime articles on the main page because I'm tired of seeing the same shitty complaints over and over. It's always people complaining about new anime being too ecchi, too plot-less, or too moe.

   The "too moe" complaint is the one that pisses me off the most since most of the people who complain about moe don't seem to even know what it means (I get especially annoyed when I see people use moe as a term for any anime that they don't like, regardless of whether that anime would be considered moe or not).

   It seems like a lot of people are just picking one anime to watch each season (usually one from a genre that they know they don't like) and then dropping it after one or two episodes. Then they somehow get to the conclusion that all the other anime from that season must suck because they didn't like the first anime they watched from that season.

   Plus, if anyone doesn't want to watch new anime (for whatever reason) then why can't they just watch older anime. I doubt that anyone who's complaining about how all new anime suck has watched all of those infinitely superior older anime that they love so much. So if there's nothing new that they want to watch then they should go pick up one of the classics that they haven't gotten to yet (or re-watch one that they haven't seen in a while).
