  1. I am reading the song of fire and ice series. Which includes game of thrones. They are really well written. I think you guys(and ladies) should give them a read.

You could just say "one Q eighty four."

  7. It wouldn't be the same, since the wordplay on the year 1984 is lost.

  11. ^Beginning is meh. But wait 'til you get to the interesting half, and better yet, the second book. It'll be impossible to put it down!

Haruhi herself has always been the one thing about Haruhi that I didn't like.

  16. I've be reading The Legacy of the Aldenata series (also known as The Posleen War series) by John Ringo. Excellent military science fiction. I wanted to get the latest two books, Honor of the Clan (with Julie Cochrane) and Eye of the Storm, and found a used hardcover of each on Ebay cheaper (shipping included) than new paperbacks. When I received them, they were in almost new condition, and first editions. I then ordered an earlier book in the series, Hell's Faire. It was also in like new condition, a first printing and with an unexpected bonus. In the back of the book are reprinted some strips from the Sluggy Freelance web comic by Pete Abrams. On the last page was this hand written inscription: To John! Death to the Posleen! ABRAMS. The signature exactly matches the way Pete Abrams signs his strips. Made my week.
