To anyone else who's watched this, please tell me I'm not alone in thinking Koushi is a complete douche bag? There's no way I can be wrong about this, right? He's such an asshole. I want to hear other's thoughts on this matter because I really cant believe the character would be written as such a MASSIVE TOOL and and then have his tooliness unleashed on another character in a way that reminds me of some creepy domestic abuse scenario minus actual physical abuse.

I liked Sumomomo Momomo.
Hmm...I didn't get that "protagonist hate" that I get with some characters.
I think he was pretty alright for some guy that got caught up in all that mess. He's certainly not an upstanding citizen, but I liked him for who he was.
And if you consider that he warms up to Momoko and they get a happy end together, it's all good.
He's a male tsundere is what he is.

I get that I am probably looking to much into it, but how Momoko worships the ground he walks on even as he treats her like dirt really weirded me out for some reason. Well I'm not too sure how happy the ending was between the two of them, seemed just like a reset to how things were before.

He is just like your typical undecisive wimp of a male protagonist that Japan like very much and which you see very often these days.
You know the male protagonist in the H-game Wanko to Kurasou? Now that guy is awsome.

I loved episode 21. Especially the end. That's the turning point.
Did you see the ova's too? The first ova seems to take before the last arc, while the second ova takes place after. Judging from subtle nuances in how the characters treat each other.

Ok, I guess I'm probably blowing his douchebaggery out of proportion. I'll admit that (he's still an ass). But I cant get over how Momoko is like one of those adorable little puppies you can kick and kick and it will keep coming back affectionately. I can see nothing that would justify her worshiping him unless she was literally insane. You could probably count the times he was nice to her on one hand...

Try looking at it from his point of view. He has a nice peaceful life, studies law and wants to be an attorney and then suddenly those martial artists show up and fuck everything up. Not to mention he's beeing forced to merry a girl he doesn't even know, who is really obnoxious and wants to mate with him at all cost. Wouldn't you get a little pissed off?
Plus Koushi is still a badass mofo compared to Shinji from Evangelion. Now that guy was a definition of a tool.

I don't know about this anime, but I dislike all assholes the same, dicks or pussies.
I never understood the tsundere affection. If I see a bro gets kicked and tossed around by some bitch who otherwise would't smack a fly, I'd have her gangraped front and back.

Still hardly an excuse to exploit a girl who's madly in love with you (for completely ridiculous reasons sure) and use her as a free maid while you chase after another girl who wants you to bone her only to be an oblivious twat and slap her in the face with the friend card, imo. And I've never seen Evangelion so I cant comment on that, but I'll take your word for it.
