   DO IT. OH GOD, HURRY UP. HURRY UP AND WATCH MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC, JAPAN.

   Seriously, buy it later if you like it. But WATCH it. Fansub it. Dedicate yourself to it like we've painstaking dedicated ourselves to your shows. It's worth it. It's amazing. And if you don't it's because you don't appreciate our shows as much as we do yours.

   A real Japanese fan of awesome should fansub this show and get it more fans in Japan. It deserves it.

   You know why? Because I don't find fansubbing any less than an honour. And the real reason why many otaku don't sub our shows, is not because they're "moral", but because they don't care.

   I'm almost sure that Japan is missing out on this show because they don't care enough to do something like fansub it like we do their shows. And that makes me sad. It really does feel like an injustice if not enough people as possible fansub this. THE WORLD NEEDS THIS.

   AND GO AHEAD, HATE ME FOR LIKING MY PONY MOE. I HOPE RAINBOW DASH HEADBUTTS YOU.

   He does make a point that American Animation isn't worth subbing for Japan - but he forgets the obviousness of WHY American love Subbing from Japan. Japanese people WANT to watch things in English to 'Learn Our Lanquage' as they have I take it in school and such. It always blows my mind how many people from here on Skype speak very good English (better than some of their lazier English counter-parts- LOL) - why?? Cause they watch American TV and such.

   I know that a few American TV shows: "House", "True Blood", & "Dexter" do have Japanese Fan-Subbers who take the raw American feeds and subb them - but honestly WHY bother with America Animation.

   This indeed! Impressive western animation is somewhat rare, but there are definitely good shows. I know Doctor Who has taken a huge rise in popularity in China because of fansubs.

   re the OP - please by all means, the majority of american animation is crap used to exploit the under age free market ecconomy.

   The irony is that while the fan based market for Japanese Anime items collectables sell out quickly.
   The junk that is passed off for american toys often end up either sold at drastic mark downs or discarded as recyclables or worse simply dumped in landfills.

   If you find something you like - all the power to you, as long as it makes you happy. thats what its all about after all, isn't it?

    If American cartoons weren't total crap, maybe someone WOULD sub them.

    As for American TV programming, hey go right ahead. Just like regular Japanese TV though, most of it is crap. But don't expect me to mind if you watch Stargate SG1 subbed.

    It's a shame the west doesn't support any desire to learn anything other than English, but then again, we have trouble getting our kids to learn that too.

    heck, don't stop with our cartoons, they suck mostly... but please fansub Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, NCIS, House, West Wing, etc. etc.
    you deserve some quality real-life shows.
