I get bad ratings too pal and personally I could care less
I drop my comment speaking my mind and if the other faggots disagree then that's their opinion besides I don't go to the main page unless there's a topic that I'm curious to know more about (like robotics)

I haven't noticed anything too problematic.
Taking a quick gander, I can see that there are people that down vote as a matter of a difference of opinion. And that's not how it should work.
But a fair amount of the time, legitimately dumb comments are down voted as they should be.

Personally, I think the scores should go higher than +1.0 and lower than -1.0 with clever titles to accommodate that rating.

There is one useful thing about the rating system: it gives you an idea of how your peers think and helps you join the mob.

Well, it is kind of annoying that every time a comment is downrated, it gets paler and paler until it's not allowed to be shown. If it's not gonna be shown, at least make it a normal color :/

I see. Well, it's rare enough that my comments actually make it, or that they show up within 5 minutes of my posting, but... it's also not like I can see myself posting anything earth-shattering anyways, so... who cares, I guess.
