I wouldn't play Perfect World in a perfect world, but that is a moot point since in a perfect world there would be no mmo's thus no Perfect World.

Steam-punk generally is sci-fi >.> So far all I'm seeing in this Perfect World is World of Warcraft, though maybe I have my all-mmorpgs-are-the-same-and-really-shitty goggles on.

yeah, I played it a while ago, and couldn't stand the quests (not much of quest person), certainly gave the same feel as WoW when I played it. The graphics looks better, but certain in the market area it lagged like hell
The only game that I'm playing right now is Fantasy Earth Zero, on the HK server(found out one of my friends from HK is playing it), cuz the Japan servers blocked all non-japan ips a few years back, and my char from there got deleted. Its fairly fast leveling, and more based on pvp (you join a nation in the beginning of the game, then do battles with other nations to conquer territories)

My bad, I must have meant I prefer steam-punk over techno-punk kind of games. I don't necessarily remember posting that last night, heh.

yeah, I was playing on the japanese server, the fonts were really screwed up and words turned out to be jibberish, so I can only read the numbers and english... wasn't too bad, managed to understand the basics, and got to my lightning/ice mage to level 34(max level is 40).
For the HK server, its a bit better for me since I can at least understand 90% of what they are talking about. But eh, I definitely find that the ppl on the HK server are a lot worse (in terms of attitude and skills, some of them are not very friendly) than the japanese server.
Ah well, let me know if you want to give it a try. =P
