Yeah- when I saw it on the homepage: it almost made Ahri a playable character for me.
Playing LoL with Stu- earlier was kinda funny; He's learning Brand, and I told him to stack nothing but rod of ages and AP, but he ended up getting zeal and hit anyway. He was updating DCUO on his PS3 while we were playing, so it kinda lagged us. I ended up getting killed 7 times and lost like 5 kills in the niggery-diggery.Posted 1 year ago # -
I witnessed my first pentakill today.
A Xin Zhao on my team told a noob Yi that his item build was bad and that Yi should copy his build. To demonstrate how good his build was, he proceeded to enter the enemy's base and get the aforementioned pentakill. The game ended quickly after that. That Xin had been kind of annoying during most of the match, but I was pretty impressed by how quickly he ended the game after making that comment.

Lately, I somehow stop playing LoL and focus more on HoN. I love both game, but the flow of LoL seems pretty relaxing which make me kinda lose focus in the game.
I do not have to worry mid at lvl6 can kill you, no OHKO heroes, and sometimes even being ganked by 2-3 people at early game is no problem as long as you stick close to tower. With a lot of supportive skill and overpower item, it somewhat become a casual rather than challenging game for me.

I noticed today that I've got 400 RP. I've never bought RP before, so I don't know how I got them. Is Riot being generous and giving everyone RP or something?
Edit:
Apparently servers were down for a day and Riot gave everyone who played that week RP as compensation.That's nice of them. Hopefully their servers go down a few more times so that I can get enough RP to buy a skin.

I'm still reading up about this 400 RP thing. I'm seeing a lot of stuff about it being because of servers going down, but I'm also seeing stuff about it being a new reward for players who reached level 3 after the New Year's RP give away.
I had only been playing for about a week before New Year's, so I didn't get the 450 RP, but I think I was already level 3 by that time. I guess I was still new enough to be able to qualify for the 400 RP.

The 400 RP is for reaching lvl 3. I got an email from Riot about it earlier today.
400 RP for only reaching lvl 3 doesn't seem right to me though. It's not very hard to get to that level (I think I got to it just from playing the tutorial a few times).
This is a nice gesture though, and I really hope Riot starts giving more RP rewards in the future.

I got to level 19 today, which means only one more level until I can start buying tier-3 runes. I still mostly use Kayle, so I'm trying to think of what runes I should buy for her. I've got a little over 15K IP, so I don't think I'll need to worry too much about not being able to afford much.
I think I would definitely need something to lower her cooldowns, but other than that, I'm not too sure what else I should get. Maybe some AS runes, since that's how I've been playing her lately. AP and AD are important for her, too. I kinda want to get mana regen runes, since she has pretty bad mana problems early game, but they would be useless late game. Her biggest problem is how squishy she is, so maybe I should buy some defense runes. There's so many choices...

Definatly go for some mana regen runes, I use them on both my AD and AP rune page and they are so handy. Also when you have points available, get the mana regen masteries aswell. As far as the rest of the runes, have a look on Solomid and see what guides they have there, thats the best place to look.

I'm kinda pissed at LoL right now.
So I played a few beginner co-op games as Ahri this morning, since she's free this week and I've really been wanting to try her out. After two quick games I only needed 6 xp to reach lvl 20. ONLY 6 FUCKIN XP! So I played one more beginner co-op game as Ahri, and I did pretty well, despite being inexperienced with her (15/2/20). However, I went over the amount of time that you can play co-op for XP and IP, or something like that, and got nothing for that game.

Ahri's so much fun, she's one of the main people I play. But a limit on how long you can play co-op? I'v never heard of that... thats weird...

You can play co-op as much as you want, but players that are higher than a certain level (15 IIRC) don't receive IP and XP after playing 180 minutes of co-op that day, or something like that.
I played a few games of co-op with Homu around 1 a.m., so that must have gone to my 180 minutes. They were short games though, one was less than 15 minutes, so I still had enough remaining time to get IP and XP from the first two games I played with Ahri this morning. Beginner co-op games usually end really quickly, so it didn't feel like I played for 180 minutes today, but I guess I did.
