   For those who play it this will be old news but Riot is going to implement a Tribunal system where players can pardon or punish other gamers which were repeatedly reported for bad behavior like flaming, extreme verbal harassment. And maybe other misdeeds but i am not sure.

   If you are on the majority side with your vote you get a small amount IP point( ingame currency). The amount you get through this "Tribunal work" is probably limited somehow.

   League of Legends is really fun to play, but it has a really bad community. So in my oppinion it is a nice idea but i doubt it will work out fine.

   But what is your oppinion:
   Do you think this is an overall good idea ?
   Do you think this system should be implemented in many more games? Like strategic games, shooters, maybe mmos. But it will work best in a competitive environment.

   Tribunal judged purely by players to determine whether or not to punish players...oh no...I can't see anything wrong with that at all! Groups won't certainly try to fuck over people they don't like this with, no sir! /end sarcasm.

   This reminds me, I havn't touched LoL in almost a year. Crazy! I think I quit over the grouping issues, when it stuck full groups against pugs and you would get slaughtered almost every other game just cause 2 people happened to be playing together and 3 others weren't. Or it was completely random vs full group.

    Well as long as the game never once has any connection with anything ever having been paid for.

    I doubt anyone will take kindly to being banned by little skippy if they paid anything out to play the game.

    Am I the only one who read it as this can only be used once a player has been found guilty of abusing the game's TOS by an actual GM? And then its open season for other players? Or am I just stupid?

    The case has to get reported first. Then, the records are thrown into a random shuffle which other players can go through and vote on the action to take.

    It's basically just crowd-sourcing one element of moderation.
