Dude, I can't even begin to tell you all the worthwile stuff you missed tonight. It's just one of those "you had to be there" situations.

  12. I spend too much time lurking on this site...

And I keep "forgetting" to call some girl someone wants me to hook up with without looking like any attempt at matchmaking is going on.

  14. Don't you have family, friends, or acquaintances who every so often try to get you married or at least romantically involved with someone of their choice?
Having said no to direct attempts at matchmaking, everyone's started wanting to invite me to barbeques & church outings where there would be some "mysteriously single" acquaintance of theirs waiting.
    "It's not a date!"
"She's just tired of always hanging around her girlfriends/other women!"
    Or the latest tactic:
"Do you remember so-and-so that I met somewhere-or-other? I haven't heard from her in a while so could you please call her for me -- but please don't tell her I asked you to call. I don't want her thinking I'm butting into her business."

  15. I think I remember a friend trying to set me up on a blind date once.

You should appreciate what they're doing for you. Unless you're like gay or something.

Oh. Yes. My parents kept trying to set me up with the Japanese girl next door; she's beautiful, but we have pretty much nothing in common.

Try wooing her with your bag of Jew money, bitches love money!

  19. She's incredibly friendly, but I never have much to talk to her about. And when I just be myself, she gets confused.

That includes waving my bag of Jew gold in front of her.

The reason I resist their attempts is because I know their nature too well. Most of my family are busybodies who love finding & amplifying anything remotely wrong with each other and are constantly making each other's lives miserable. Any girl they throw my way is just a pipeline of information into my personal life. I learned this the hard way as a kid with the way my aunts & uncles constantly found ways to twist anything my brother & I said to them or to any of my cousins in a way that kept my brother & I at odds with our mother.
Most of my "friends" are or were drug dealers and/or former inmates. The type of girls they draw aren't always the most trustworthy either. One childhood friend & one cousin are dead behind shacking up with these type of girls. In both cases, the girl opened the door for the guy who did the killing. I don't think I'll be looking to those guys for dates.
