I will say (something) about this (from my own experience)....
After my first wife died, I (actually) lost all hope, gave up everything, spent all monies, maxed-out credit cards, walked away from my home and cars, eventually wandered around...
I started living under a bridge, ate from the left overs (begged from) McD's and some other fast food places.
I took whore baths in public bathrooms, washed clothes in them as well (washing each item of clothing separately) at separate locations, I never took advantage of churches or the 'Y' or even the Salvation Army/Goodwill services... I actually thought that was - 'too low'
I did this for a total of a month, before heading out to the desert, which became more of a learning lesson, which eventually made me realize that life just a test, a bunch of them, and that I needed to get my head out of my arse...
and the rest is what they say - 'history'
