In England, college =/= university. It's a place offering education to 16-18 year-olds and most have about 1000 students. In the highly unlikely event of there being more than about 3 anime fans, they'll all be Narutard weeaboos.

It's the same with every country.

Untrue. In countries like China, they don't pretend you have free speech. It's a lot more honest.

They kind of do in their constitutions.

    http://english.people.com.cn/constitution/constitution.html

Article 35. Citizens of the People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of association, of procession and of demonstration.

Who says the Chinese don't have a sense of humour?

I find North Korea to be more of a laugh riot. Their official name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Out of these five words, one of them has any semblance to meaning. Guess which one.

It has been noted many times that countries with "democratic" in their name are rarely democratic. In most cases, "fascist/communist military junta" is more accurate.

    EDIT:

I think the only word with any semblance of meaning in that title is "of".

Speaking of military juntas, why do I get the feeling that Greece is going have one again very soon. Only this time, they can't blame the king for this one.

Khan, you'll be interested to know that I've started posting on my blog again. There will now be updates from time to time about a fictional nation I'm running on a nation simulation game, and all updates are based on real in-game events. And the nation is run by a pony.

  11. Love is like growing fruit plants - the seedlings, the soils, the fertilizers, the tools, etc.. should be right for smooth growing. Randomly test out growing plants..? Any problems just overlook..? Maybe people really enjoy eating bitter and rotten fruits (breakups/divorce, worse with kids).

Many people "Fall In Love" (Love to feel the love) but not really fall in love with that person. Because that person love you so you must love back? No matter how foolish a person's actions just for you, no matter what grand promises made, that's called "Touching" - an acting to win a heart, not loving. When all the passions ends (10,20,30 years), that's where the promises broken, bitterness, sadness and regrets grows - daily quarrels, fightings, etc..

Good friends do not mean lovers.
Lovers do not mean husband and wife.
Husband and wife do not mean forever.

S.. Why am I so depress..?
    Maybe it's time to sleep..zZ

Sleep well, Ocha. Don't let things get to you too much. Old-fashioned escapism is great.

Glad, Nin understand this. Find one who like and respect your personality and thinking, understand and will not interrupt much (unless heading a wrong direction), less frictions and live a smoother life.

Thanks Nin. Sleeping is good because for some people, sleeping may often resolves the problems of the previous day.

  15. ‎13th June 2012:

Watch out for provocations at the moment. They may come in all shapes and sizes, and find our sensitive spots to dig away at. Nothing is sacred at a time like this. Whatever our pet hates, this is the time for them to be brought to our attention. But this isn’t just some sadistic aspect of the universe gaining its pleasure from winding us up, no matter how much it may feel that way. With Chiron now retrograde, we’re in a phase of inner healing, and for that healing to occur we need to know what in us requires it. When the body’s out of balance it produces symptoms to alert us, and to attempt to rebalance itself: stomach pain notifies us of something not right inside, a rash shows the body trying to cast out imbalance, away from more vital internal organs. Our psyche works much the same way. If something really riles us, we experience that impact physically, emotionally and mentally. The unease, irritation, stress etc. alerts us to the fact that we’ve lost balance, that something has shifted our energy out of kilter. Just as we pay attention to a stomach pain - trying to remember when it began, what we had eaten, have we had this pain before - we can pay the same attention to our mental and emotional state: when did this feeling of unease begin? When did our temper begin to fray? Where were we and what had happened? Paying this kind of close attention to our internal world makes very good use of the provocations that occur in daily life, for it turns each one into an opportunity for greater insight and deeper self knowledge, which is the purpose of these provocations in the first place. They’re a guide, an aid, to a more peaceful and conscious life in the long run. The more we can honour them as such, the more content we can be in the present.

If I'm a male living in U.S. and we are in the same platoon on a battlefield, I will immediately request for a change to another platoon or ask the Platoon Commander to place you in barrack office to do paperworks. With your character/behaviour, who knows when you will point your rifle barrel to all your platoon mates one by one, killing all of us slowly and surrender to the enemy forces.

  18. The Moon enters Taurus on 14th June 2012 @ 4:23 pm GMT.

This Moon puts us in touch with our immediate environment and wants us to pay attention to what goes on there. We may find ourselves confused by what we see, but if this is the case, our confusion itself has something to teach us. When the Moon is in Taurus she likes to know the score and finds security in the familiar. The unknown, or worse still, unknowable, is not a comfortable place for her to go. But over the next couple of days we may well encounter the unknown, and then what?! The heavens tell us not to panic. This Moon connects up with Jupiter and Neptune to help us learn from the experience of confusion, and even begin to enjoy it a bit. She encourages us to let go, just a little, into the feeling of not knowing, to allow something new to emerge in our consciousness. We don’t have to go for broke and leap into the void with abandon, but a few steps into the fog of confusion with our heart and minds still open to what’s out there could well make all the difference in the next few days.
