Actually I am an otaku, but I want to see YOUR opinion. Maybe am I the only one thinking he's wrong, and maybe people who aren't otakus think he's right.

1. DNA is a joke. There's no Otaku DNA - just as there is NO gay gene.
2. Pervert is relative - there are assholes who jack-off to feet, balloon popping, and getting barfed on....I like chicks underwater. Every Fetish is perverted to someone.

4. Wrong! - I appreciate 3-D models from TV shows, Pin-Up models, Web-Girls, English & Japanese Voice actors, Fictional characters from comics. I LOVE Seiyuu's (Eng & Jap) because they were my Fav character and vice-versa. I like Playboy models the way my brother likes Sports teams = I want to see them win against others, be praised, get more successful, and meet the Player(s) and cheer them on!
5. CUTENESS - warms my soul! really. I Adore "K-On!", Sphere, and Tenshi Kanade "Angel Beats" because they are SOOO Cute! They are an experience that reminds me of the pure JOY of something soo attractive that you feel like a small sun rose-up in your chest and you enjoy how it makes you feel - you want to share it with the world and others so they will feel it's soothing bliss....I LOVE "MOE" and I adore Cuteness --- It makes me a better person.

7. Wrong! - I've had several. Shit, 2 Otaku's I knew separately you'd never think would even Look at each other (and were from different states) Meet Up cause of Otaku tastes...after about a year, they got engaged. If I post their pics you'd swear these two were too hot to be Otaku.
8. I think people who LIVE to sponge off the Government and play the victim card at EVERY turn is an Illness and that too is a Lifestyle (it used to be called "Welfare" - before Bill Clinton of all people reformed much of the system).
9. Again- I believe in the simple rule: "Work and Behave"- go to your job, don't fuck with other peoples private stuff, and persue your own "American Dream"....this is Society vs the Individual! As long as you are paying your taxes, not sponging of the Tax payers, Not being a burden to society - you got every right to live your life within the LEGAL Means of the Law.
10. You're Kidding?? ONLINE? We Don't Have to Buy It!! Someone I've never met or ever speak to Uploads & Subbs it for me every week! Hell, I can watch a hot Russian chick take a shower, while my Real Girlfriend "Takes a Shower" while eating FREE Taco Bell...I don't even have to pay for most movies - I just say it's for Work and I get reimbursed....I can't pay someone to "spend time in my place" with my Family this Christmas...so there's still some kinks.
Am I an Otaku?....ehhhh. I am a rare breed. I love Playboy but hate Porn. I love MOE & Fan Service (Ecchi) but not Hentai. I love Seiyuus & singers but often because I like their character. I love 3-D cosplaying chicks. Otaku's are supposed to be weak or Techno minded with poor social skills -- I am a bit of a 'Bully', barely a Gamer, and I talk & charm people for a living.
I recognize QUEN as the supreme Master Otaku of Sancom and aspire to have his passion. Deth I know is a Master Pirate of torrenting and computer prowess (compared to most I know). I admire Mikorio's passion for Cosplay and am always impressed at her attention to detail....even cats like Nefly, Antika, Railgun, Gasicle, Indexakun, and Pacpon to Peter barton probably 'out class' me as an OTAKU....I recognize this.
However, I come here to LEARN and be a Better Otaku. I can't change what I already am so I find my "Personal Otaku-ness" thru ALL of you and sites like this. AM I and "Otaku"??...I Aspire to find my Inner Otaku. I am proud to be an Otaku.
