but i see penance, i click the profile and it still says penance.my advice would be stop doing drugs and start having fun.
but then again i use the internet to be a pirate, find porn, watch young people make something of themselves on youtube and starcraft 2 players.

Greetings ~
You know what maybe shocking? and this is no insult to anyone mind you.
Is that (many of you) will eventually "grow up" (meaning) ~ Mature ~ and as you get older, you will soon see things differently, and with a different purpose.
Yea.. reality sucks ~ and the one thing one cannot do is stop time or the age process.
Things will (eventually) bore you ~ (however) ~ as the cycle of life/things goes, you will return, and make full circle once again eventually.
Maybe you just over-flooded yourself with the typical *sameness* which is encountered on the internet or when browsing.
Though, this is just a old man talking, I do have the dreaded FB/MS/and Twitter and so far it has suited my purpose very well, and ndeed I also ~ *gasp* ~ connected with the human race!
Also (as recommended) ~ go out, encounter the world, pursue that hobby that is lingering in your mind.
I don't know what interests everyone has, but this is *just* a lull that everyone experiences at one time or another.
I mean, just imagine, when there was ~ NO INTERNET ~ and one actually had to go outside and even the library for simple info.

To be honest this makes you sound more conformative than people who use Facebook =/
It's actually quite a useful tool for keeping in touch with people in large numbers. A tool can't be intelligent or stupid; your experience with the interface is defined by how you use it.

Some things were easier without them, now they are either annoying or just plain boring, since some people don't have free time(I consider myself one) I don't know how to cheer you up man, sorry.

Thats what I mean...besides there are a few (here) that would answer that - let alone - remember those days.
When I am approached and asked about it... they are in shock and just can't believe that those days actually even existed.
I mean, with all the BS emomelodrama over a (simple) 24hours of shut-down (electronics) experiments, no mobiles, no internet, no WIFI, I mean really....
~ is everyone THAT weak? O.o

Shit i remember before i discovered the internet, things were still do-able just never at near instant speed. The internet dissappearing would have advantages, as its made nearly all its users lazy or more lazy. But it dissappearing would hurt the spread of information.
But just a question Deth, do you use FB/Twitter/etc for family communications and people far away...or because its much easier to talk to your friends despite them being within walking distance. You don't strike me as the type of person who would be too lazy to walk 5 mins to talk to a friend. This is where alot of my frustrations and dislikes of FB come about, its made people so lazy and unable to socialize face to face. Not that the internet itself hasn't done that, but i believe the FB phenomenon has massively sped that up and contagiously spread it to the masses. Its disadvantages seem to outweigh its benefits greatly.
