  4. I had a dream that I was at a gas station. I had just bought some gas, and I had gone inside to buy some Red Bull, which was a little odd, as I have never drank any Red Bull in my life. All they had were these 6 - 8oz cans for $1, but I wanted something larger. After a little searching, I gave up and decided to either pick one of the other brands or just go to Meijer.

Just as I was about to leave, a tall Jamaican guy in a dirty t-shirt and jeans walked in and said "Ok, here's the deal; these three guys outside are coming in here in a minute, and want everyone to get out their cash and anything of value and have it ready to give to them. If you don't, there's gonna be trouble."

I looked out by the pumps and, sure enough, there are three guys headed for the door. One of them had a baseball bat, another had a golf club (or maybe two, couldn't quite tell), and the third had a machete. At first I thought the third guy had a gun, but maybe it just changed into a machete.

I reached into my pocket to get my knife, but I realized that I had left it in the car. I took out my wallet, phone, keys, and flash drive, and kicked them under a shelf. Despite having forgotten my knife, I had apparently brought my WWII surplus shovel in with me. Some kind of backstory presented itself in my head that I had needed to help toss dirt under someone's car tires to get them out of the mud, and so I had just been carrying it when I walked in.

I looked around the store to see if anyone was gonna fight back. Nah. They already had all their cash and stuff out in their hands ready to fork it over. Even the cashier had the cash drawer open.

I kinda smiled to myself and reached for my shovel. It was a little odd; usually I'm legitimately grinning and laughing my ass off when I get to fight in my dreams. I actually felt kind of sad this time, though. I like fighting to protect people and to keep them from having to fight, but in this case they weren't even going to do anything for themselves.

A few guys in there I even identified as the kind who might come to "help" if it looked like I was getting the upper hand somehow, but would just stand there and watch me get my ass kicked otherwise. It kinda pissed me off; there were at least eight able-bodied people in there, counting myself, and tons of stuff to use for weapons. I couldn't see any excuse for them to just weenie out.

I figured that even if they weren't worth fighting for, at least I was. So I walked over to the door where they couldn't surround me on their way in, unfolded my shovel, and very slowly screwed the locking ring in place. They were pretty big guys, I realized as they got closer. I picked out which one to try to hit first; maybe if I took him out with a shot to the face it could scare off one of the others, maybe get an even one-on-one with the last guy.

I wasn't too hopeful of that, though. Realistically, I figured I would get one, maybe two good swings to fuck one of them up for life before I was beaten to death. I was really calm, and didn't seem to be that upset at the prospect, though. I looked around at everyone again, as they just stood there, and I thought "take a good look, assholes, maybe you'll learn something."

Then everything started getting really bright. It got white and fuzzy, and I realized I was waking up. I tried really hard not to wake up because I wanted to see how well I did against those guys, but I couldn't stay asleep. I woke up with my heart beating probably about 150, and in a pool of sweat you could have done the backstroke in, much in contrast to how calm I was in the dream.

  5. Sleep apnoe? For me that usually what sets up that kind of ending.

For the last month or so, I've had frequent and vivid lucid dreams. The cool thing is that they are very similar to a hallucinogen trip, so I can actually control what is happening. Kinda like real booting in Chaos;Head.

Adrenaline rush, I think. I was breathing extremely heavily, and every muscle felt like it was on fire when I woke up.

For about six years almost all my dreams were controllable ("lucid" dreams). It is odd when I am not at least aware that I am dreaming, even though I usually decide to not interfere with the course of events that unfold because I think that's cheating, so I limit myself to the mechanics of the dream state.

I seem to have a lot of dreams about fighting in situations I can't win, come to think of it. I typically will know that I am going to die, and I can see the fight, like I'm remembering it before it starts. I'm never quite myself in those dreams. I am usually similar to how I am in real life, but with various physical differences, from facial structure or hair color to height and weight.

  7. IMO it's better when you're in control and a lot more fun.

Last time I had a fight in a dream was when I made Ace(from One Piece) fight with a Cheshire cat like figure which had pointy blue teeth and had the ability to appear and disappear from reality. The best part is that I arranged it to be in my taste, so it looked really cool the whole time. Also a lot of the visuals were from UT and Q3.

    oh you're new:3

I'm the drug-user-abuser on this forums and I've had a experience with pure, crystalline DMT.
Also, it doesn't really have the whole DMT feel to it, it's more like mescaline, 2C-x or other phenethylamines mixed with a GABAA agonist(zolpidem, muscimol). No crystal-clear clarity, but rather muddy and life-like/full of swarming, oozing life.

  11. I had a dream where I was flying around in this space ship shooting down waves of enermies.
The ship seemed to have every weapon I need such lasers, railguns, and a variety of missiles including nukes.
It also could transom into a giant winged humanoid robot that looked a little like Shin Mazinger Z but with energy swords and an energy lance kinda like Remilia's Gungnir.

I killed this huge command ship by taking out the control tower with the energy spear.

Then I decided to investigate this weird planet and that's when things started to get really weird.
It was full of some really bizarre enemies and then things become like Parodus except in 3d when some super robot war thrown in.

My response to most of the weird things was to say WTF is that and then I'd dispatch them Megas XLR style.
After many waves of WTF was that type enemies I came upon this castle full of MLP ponies I figured this was the command center as they open a com channel were saying I cannot win etc so I hit it with every weapon I had turning it into a smoking crater.
    It was kinda like this.

The Pineal Gland naturally produces DMT, but the experience is different when taken as a substance while fully conscious; also the dose really affects the trip like Salvia.
Personally I like a certain blend of Dream Tea from Sedona that naturally boosts the DMT production in the brain while you sleep and it gave me the most Vivid Lucid dreams it was like Astral Projection.

I flew (in the astral dream state) to the Great Pyramid of Giza and found a giant ancient city under ground with all kinds of high tech ancient objects and tools. There were a bunch of other people that were under there preforming strange rituals and making music. The walls were made of Gold and the lights were giant crystals producing perpetual energy and they illuminated the entire city. Very realistic and intense dream that time @_@.

  13. I know the stuff about DMT, but it's not enough for a lucid dream. Dreams are much more different than psychedelic hallucinogens(5HT2A and 5HT2C agonists), they are more dissociative-like and messy. Since the brain is a fucked-up, awfully convoluted organ, it does a lot more than just relesing a tryptamine metabolite.
I think the other main factors are GABA and some endogenous opiate-receptor ligands, along with the uptake of dopamine, adrenaline, serotonin and glutamate.

  17. I agree, there are many factors that make up the chemical process for dreaming but I also think that we dream because it is how we stay connected to other states of Consciousness & other Dimensions of Reality ; the chemicals involved seem like they are merely the mechanics of something much more significant like the actual quantum experience of the dream itself (to me anyway). I thank evolution that we are able to go into the altered state of awareness and experience such an amazing process, regardless of how bizarre or wondrous it may be. This is why I love Anime, Comics, and Multimedia in general, it reminds me of my Dream Time. :)

I'm just happy I'm alive to experience it. :)

No no, I'm quite fine with that (well, maybe not at this time of night).

I meant that there are two people who like to, how should I put this? Experiment with brain chemistry :3

I used to play around and experiment with "brain chemistry" but now I just enjoy life as naturally as possible and meditate or dream for the most part when I want to experience something out of the norm. ;)
