I just woke up from an interesting (to me) dream.
I was standing around in the snow back home, where I used to live. I was in the road, just standing around watching this double decker bus drive along. I seemed to be disappointed because things hadn't worked out with a girl that I really liked, and maybe even a little depressed.
It turned out my mother was on the bus, and was coming up to live in a new trailer that I had fixed up for her. As the bus got near it tried to make a u-turn to park, but the bus was too top-heavy and the snow was too uneven for it to make it. The bus tipped over on it's side, breaking the cable line that hung on the bottom of the power poles. The emergency hatch was blocked by snow and binding on the door frame, so it couldn't open.
I ran up and climbed on the side, which was now the top. They got the door open, and I stood by to help people climb out. My mother was ther by the door, but she said she was ok, and I should help these other people. It was apparently a Japanese tour bus, because (duh) it was filled with Japanese people, several of which were dressed similarly to flight attendants and were apparently bus hostesses.
I helped one of these hostesses out first because I figured she'd have the most useful crisis-situation training. I was pulling her up but the bus was really slippery, and I almost lost my footing. She said, in Japanese, "you can do it," and smiled at me. She didn't look or sound scared at all. She was actually really pretty (I can still remember every detail of her face, body, clothing, which is very strange for me), I realized as I proceded to haul her up and out, almost with only one hand.
Once she was out, standing in front of me, it was kinda strange. I didn't care that the other girl had blown me off, or that I had screwed up my GPA at college (apparently I did that, too), or anything. I started pulling the rest of the people up, and she helped. I felt so happy just to have her next to me, it was great. I decided to ask her out, go back to school, fix everything. I knew I could, because she was there, and I knew that no matter what happened there would always be another way I could go, and that somehow this is what she told me even she hadn't spoken another word. I realized it didn't even matter if things worked out with her, because... maybe she wasn't even really a person, because I knew that even if she wasn't there where I could see her, she would always be there with me, somehow, and that made everything ok.
Then I woke up, logged on here, and almost cried writing down this really sappy dream.
