I am from the Philippines. Just to let you know, the primary eaters of dog meat are Ifugaos (aborigines from Benguet, Northern province of the country), it's part of their ancient *stupid* culture or tradition. Ifugaos/Igorots/Aetas are in the extreme minority, not even a direct descendant of Filipinos, they are black skinned people (It's like saying White Australians are from UK and Ireland.), something is really wrong with our history. Next are the drunkards who belong to the lower class (poor people) who can't afford real meat but not all of them, there's sea food as a substitute. And then there are companies who are concerned about the environment and use less brutal methods. Rather than being concerned with what you eat, you should focus on how what you eat was treated before reaching your plate, in my opinion.
