Akashi Brewery has potentially appealed to the otaku crowd with a new line of “Moe Beer”, which boasts cute anime-inspired illustrations on the bottles as the main allure, despite filling them with the company’s tried and true brew rather than an original formula based on squeezings from the pantsu of schoolgirls or some such.
A six-pack of beer comes with 3 different Akashi brand brews and a total of 6 different illustrations (which were made by contest winners at the Kyoto Institute of Design):
