You can thank the Japanese females for that. I say that because there was an article on animenewsnetwork that said a screening of the live action movie(full audience btw) was 90 percent female(of all ages) and 10 percent male. People found that highly unusual but even so, this show is popular among the ladies.

Aldnoah Zero played it too safe with the ending. Inaho(With his Kira Yamato esq abilities) didn't kill Slaine.

A/Z2 does not deserve its position. Higher if it excludes the last half of the final episode. Not deserving of any rank in its entirety.
This list is fine to me, since I didn't find really any series to be any better than the others. I would have skipped this lis and gave the overall season a Fail. Which surprises me, because I have had at least one series every season that at least interested me, until this Winter season...
