Fuku was never honest from the beginning. It was supposed to be about all women dragon fighters. Most shows like this are mostly about the women and no males. Fuku didn't show Kira until the OP of the show.
Kira killed the show. This show was like a male main character and his harem. That is what this show should been from the beginning.
The extreme tusk and ange got old. Once was fine, but over and over again. Once tusk came in the show, he overwhelmed the plot. If this was how this show was supposed to go you didn't need all the female characters, because tusk made them obsolete.
Fuku inserted himself through Kira and this was wish fulfillment.
Again tusk was the hero of the show not ange.

Tusk ended up being the hero of the story. Fuku can't help his love for Kira. Hid him away until the show started. It's like strike witch and then all a sudden a male character pops up and became the main hero of the story.
Series could've been good. There was no reason to hide tusk. Fuku used fan service to cover up the disconnected story. Once tusk appeared, the females were pushed aside.

It was all a big misunderstanding. The DRAGONS wanted to save Aura from Embryo. But the people of the Mana world sent Normas to kill them.
As freaking ridiculous as the story is, it's still a lot more interesting to watch than most of the other stuff we get every season. I would argue that this show even had a better final battle and ending than the other mecha-show that just finished, Aldnoah Zero.
