As the winter season reaches its half-way point, a new ranking has emerged showcasing the latest top 10 characters of note – with the list starting to resemble a World War II naval order of battle thanks to dominance by a certain title.

Yuudachi and Shimakaze made this list and no Yamato/Nagato...... makes me sad man.
Whats the sex appeal of Nagato? i find Mutsu the better girl.
Give me a four way with Yamato, Musashi and Nagato. They would need some dry dock or perhaps a complete refit to fix all those hull breaches I'd give em.

To tell you the truth, I would be a bit concerned about Musashi. She's a big girl and seems like quite a handful in both ways.

Kongou is very popular in the fandom and it helped that half her quirks are related to her Burning Love for the Admiral (the other half are her returnee from England quirks).
Shimakaze's thing was her memetic outfit, speed, obsession with speed and being hyperactive.
Boring top list of girls as usual... just the usual "top 10 best girls from the latest fad" list (the current case being KanColle). But I'm glad that if any KanColle girl is at the top, it's Kongou. Besides that, Angelise is ok. This winter for anime has been a cold one, though. Only Mio from Testament is really worth a mention, IMO.

Why? She didn't get too much screentime in the Anime, so there's not really all that much personality being conveyed.
Kongou is a deserved 1st in my book. I kinda like those kinda characters that randomly spout engrish words with a bright personality.

The entire premise of Cross Ange makes me want to go watch something else entirely.

You seriously think any character from an ecchi show will ever show up in these top 10 lists from Japan? It's always full of popular moe and shonen fads.
Plenty to go on this season that isn't generic idol/game series.
- Kurokami no Onna from Death Parade
- Viv or Artemis from Junketsu no Maria
- Celty, Erika, Vorona, or the Orihara twins from DRRR
- Shigyou from The Rolling Girls
- Leo or Yukikaze from Dog Days
- Shinmai Maou no Testament girls
- Yuki, Inko, or Nina from Aldnoah.
This list is simply uninspired.
Well, typical of every anime list since the first one ever, only popularity survives. It's really no surprise anymore. These lists only please if you're in to the latest fad. One time it was Haruhi, another time it was K-On, and this time it's KanColle.
