The latest in Square Enix’s exploitation of the mobile game phenomenon “Final Fantasy Record Keeper” (created as a result of the collaboration between Square Enix and DeNA) is heading to the west, additionally boasting a trailer rife with intoxicating amounts of nostalgia to gull diehard fans into spending wads of cash in the game’s inevitable cash shops.
The nostalgia inducing trailer:
Final Fantasy Recorder Keeper features characters from the entirety of the Final Fantasy franchise, allowing players to form parties and participate in classic turn based combat while reliving previous Final Fantasy games in 16-bit style.
An official release date has yet to announced.
You can clear most everything without putting any money into the game.
Paying can buy you:
-Stamina (to continue playing without waiting)
-Random weapon(s)
You can also use mithrils to get those for free too. Mithrils are free; you get one everyday as a login bonus, and you get them by clearing dungeons.
In this trailer i saw only degradation of one of the most beloved by me jrpg series into mobile s♥♥t.
If this this is a microtransaction blackhole like All The Brvaest was it is going to get panned. Hard.
