Anime fans have again been quizzed as to which anime school they would most like to attend, a decision most likely influenced by the girls in attendance as opposed to the school itself – with the eminently dateable idols of Love Live! seeming to prove this point as they reign over the top of the list.

The vocational school of sword art online... That is a school for students who are behind and in rehabilitation. Why would you go to a school for the reject survivors of a terrible social experiment? Some schools would be cool, like Ashford and all its facilities, but why is the Fumizuki Academy not here? A school where those who try are better equipped facility wise and battle wise is an excellent incentive to make students try.

You'd think the list would be chalked full of nothing but schools with Magic, Fighting, Monsters, Super Dense Girl to Boy Ratios, Mechs, etc etc etc
too many are exactly like regular high schools that just happen to have a "cool group" like any other school. The school itself is quite normal.
Wonder think about actually attending the school and how fun it'd be vs favorite show that just happened to take place in a school.

None of these schools are realistic and lets face it, even if it seems like they are awesome, you'd just be some random background character who has zero impact on the school or the world itself.

Lots of the choices don't make sense...
Some of those schools absolutely nothing happens and everything is completely normal. People are just figure "X Character goes there!" and they think it'll be fun to go as well. As if you'll ever encounter them. (Exception being Love Live, since they are your specific school's idol)
I think the ones where the school is actually different (Such as Baka Test) or hold people of similar interests (Such as SAO) would make much more sense than lots of those generic school picks.
