To be honest when I opened the article I expected a bunch of terrible Idol shows. Went better than expected.

Compared to the Japanese VAs, who generally sound the same from anime to anime and have the same lack of range? Keep dreaming.
K-On is a music anime? Hmm... I have watched it twice but didn't notice. Even something like Angel Beats beats K-On 10-0 in being a music anime, despite not being a music anime either.

Yeah, sure. If only they bothered to play those songs. K-On had 36 episodes. It should have had helluva lot of music compared to the very moderate amount it managed to present. That was my only grievance with the show.
