Racing Miku’s 2015 Design “Quite Chivalrous”

Holographic princess Hatsune Miku has received her latest Super GT racing design for the new year thanks to Good Smile Racing and Team UKYO, depicting a more knightly side to the twin-tailed Vocaloid as she bears a formidable shield and lance with which to ride down and unhorse the competition.

Evangelion mech designer Shigeto Koyama constructed the design while the illustration itself was sketched by Taiki – naturally Team UKYO’s new sports car was also unveiled:
The pathetically drab car design presumably makes up for Miku’s rather novel choice of outfit.

I found her style very artistic, charming, and attractive. I'm sure the final product shall be as good as this illustration.

I know miku is supposed to be a robot or something, but even if she is, holding that lance this way is very straining. Especially with that footstand.

Anyway, the design is quite nice and interesting! I really like it!

While I do like the design, it comes off as being too much as a Good Smile Racing race queen design. Way too much.

the 3 spikes on the head spoil the whole design
Good choice choosing SLS GT3. Last year that car finish 2nd.
2nd it may be, but the sls is still ugly compared to the z4
looks interesting. I look forward the the figure of her that's bound to come out of this design.
Valkyria Chronicles doesn't come to mind, people?
Selveria's is more fully dressed and her shield and lance have spiral motif.
Also, the shield and lance combo has been around since before Valkyria Chronicles. The only odd thing is that Miku isn't in a full suit of armour, which was pretty standard for cavalry at the time lances were in use.
