They apparently forgot to put it in the meteor troops.
Indeed the animation doesn't eventually follow up the actual quality of the story.
On the other hand, I particularly believe that such problems with the final art production shall surely be greatly diminished in the BD version.

The story seems fresh with the "valkyries" of the western kingdom slowly gathering around the eastern small time lord, who establishes himself as a benevolent nobleman - too bad this seems too niché for the investors and they have to outsource the animating and crap to KINDERGARTEN and GRADE SCHOOL CLASSES.
My biggest complaint however was on the ridiculous costuming for the war maidens. They all look like they are dressed for the ball or for a festival than, you know, for war! And all the bouncing, lady! Do you know what a bra is?
