Correct me if I'm wrong... but to my knowledge, with the exception of Kuroko from Railgun, not a single one of the characters in this list is confirmed to be gay within their respective canons... Are Fujoshi legitimately not interested in actual gay couples, and only in turning straight people gay for their own wank fantasies? If so, that community is more toxic than I ever realized.
Fujoshis are the most cancerous anime and manga fanbase ever. Much much more than yuri and hentai fanbases combined.
DUOS, not COUPLES. Just because 2 people fit together doesn't mean it is romantically. They might just be great friends and we think they're awesome. Like Kuroko/Taiga, Shizuo/Izaya and Gon/Killua.

The words "same sex" can be interpret as same gender, doesn't have to mean that it's referring to a couple as gay.

Perhaps Toshimitsu Kubo from BAKA AND TEST (has a one-sided gay crush on Akihisa, but otherwise doesn't act particularly stereotypical)?
People are more leaning to Akihisa and Yuuji pairing.
Personally, I'm only interested in shipping Akihisa and Hideyoshi, if Hideyoshi counts as "male".
