Fantasy anime Madan no Ou to Vanadis has impressed at least some viewers with its abundance of thrilling combat, despite adopting an overused medieval setting and theme – and has even offered some brief bathing service to aid in drawing more attention.

If you think that this fight was cool then you have seen nothing yet.
The stronger selling point of this series is all out warfare with tactics etc and not just super powers
Sure man sure man.
all service and no plot, brilliant
uhhh there is plenty of plot and "plot" if you read the LN. Not all service.
BEWBS
In the third gif, where is that water coming from?
I was planning on watching this until I saw goddamn dickfaces, so no thanks.
"Dickfaces"?
Spoilers: MC is a standard milquetoast harem lead who daisy-chains every girl in the series after him while not actively pursuing any of them, and then he gets amnesia so he can be a dick to the old ones and then be forgiven.
"Overused medieval setting and theme?"
Hello? I'd KILL for an anime with that theme! Especially with the sickening number of anime/manga that uses high school as a theme for their characters. Now THAT is an overused theme.
To bad to this dont be equal to Koihime musou anime ( no mc ) because companys all the time turn mc in this class of animes, in herbivorous gaes.
Pd: At least dont look like the homogaemetrodumbass Rito.
I was actually reasonably impressed with this anime the fight seemed smoothly animated and the main character has a compelling background. it looks like one of those "service" anime where the service gives out for actual plot and action.
2014 people still think there is a ''plot''
read the manga?
I just remembered that I was reading this manga... so few updates.
With you there
I'm kinda worried about this one. It's adapted from a superb LN series, but the first episode blew through 3/4 of the entire introduction novel.
Well it would be boring to have the first episode with nothing but introductions
Sigh.
My penis is yet again deciding what anime should I watch.
Can't resist.
Help.
Your penis is gay if it needs to decide.
he's not saying his penis needs to decide but that his penis is the one deciding
Give in.
I watched the first ep and past the boobs and moe this seems like it might be a half-decent show
cant understand some ppl! ppl bashing this anime for anything and yet giving full marks to shingeki no bahamut which is horrible by all means when both are at some point the same fantasy medieval setting type.
personally, i loved madan no ou. didnt read the LN and just started the manga but so far the characters are much more charismatic and the world seems cooler...
just my 2 cents
Complex story and 5 light novel volume packed in 13 episode... A premonition of disaster.
SAO 2:GGO arc is a 2 light novel volume and it runs for 14 episode as a comparison.
Ellenora looks so much like Milla Maxwell from Tales of Xillia!!!
The world needs to sexualize children more.
I think you need you eyes testing.
Tell that to those who support things like "Toddlers & Tiaras".
