Honestly, this is even worse than watching Free or Love Stage.
I've actually read most of Terra Formars. It's really not that good of a manga. It's got a decent idea, but bad execution.

Free's a good show if you arent a little baby who is afraid of men and needs all their anime to be soft pastel moe girls, and Love Stage is cute.

this series tries to be sentimental with its characters, explaining their elaborate situation on how they came to mars.. after its explained the character is promptly killed off. i am very disappointed with this series. i do not recommend it. i find it a waste of my time.

I've never heard of this. But it looks like MD Geist , Guyver, Muv Luv and Gantz with a splash of Attack on Titan to attract bandwagonners.
gave it a try for curiosity..... well that was incredibly lame....
the "insect transformation" idea is just meh, maybe it would have been credible in the 70's, but now, it just looks plain silly, why the fuck would use that kind of technology instead of heavy weapons for sending explorers to an unknown place where some people didn't return from ?
the first transformation is described as "like a flamethrower" ..... why not just put a bunch of flamethrowers in the ship then ? wouldn't it be a bit more efficient and believable than creating a kind of surgery that allows people to mighty-morph into flame-throwing beasts? -_-
I heard the studio is quite new. Based from what I saw...I just hope they won't be allowed to touch any other projects and just burn to the ground.

First two arcs are garbage, gory as fuck and really has no point other than to build up for the third arc. Third arc is okay at best.

And then the series kills that guy a few panels later.

on any case this is actually part of the prologue of the series. they were on a mission to scout mars to see how the terraforming was going and SUPRISE cockroaches happen

They did. The probes all got smashed, presumably by roaches. So they send humans, five of their best astronauts. They all got smashed within an hour but managed to send a transmission and a sample via escape pod. Slightly an improvement.
