Century-old mega-station Tokyo Station celebrates its 100th year transporting people across Japan, unusually utilising the medium of anime to provide a highly sentimental animated short to honor the station’s ongoing dedication.

Such a bad encoder...
that interlacing
Watch repairer: Wow, you're my first customer in ages. Guess I shouldn't hide my store behind a non-descript door with no store name labeling.
Watch the video again. It said that shop is reserved for railway employees only, so it's most likely subsidized by the rail company and it's not like it needs to advertise itself to the public.

The audio on it is absolutely atrocious. The animation wasn't that bad, but the audio through the whole thing just crackles and pops.
The story wasn't bad, just that encoder.

A-1 huh, no wonder it's so average.
Good - could've been great if they let Makoto Shinkai direct/write it.
I think I've seen this already. Before someone translated it.
They could try asking permission to use the characters from Rail Wars to do the promo from its respective company instead of this.
I found this pretty heart-warming.
