Miku fans upset about Nintendo’s draconian region-lock restrictions finally have something to be excited about when it comes the Nintendo 3DS, as Sega has announced the western release of Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2 under the working title “Hatsune Miku Project Mirai Remix.”
Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix (working title), an enhanced version of the popular Japanese video game Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI 2, will launch in the West on Nintendo 3DS in 2015!
A fan favorite franchise, Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix will mark the first release from the Project MIRAI series outside of Japan and also the first appearance of Hatsune Miku game on a Nintendo platform outside of Japan.
Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix features characters rendered in beautiful stereoscopic 3D, with two different rhythm game modes (button and touch) and three difficulties per song.
Players will enjoy a highly customizable experience with user customization options for button icons and sounds, character costumes and gear for the character rooms.
Players can create and share personalized player cards that show off who you are as well as create customized dance routines to the songs, your own musical phrase and personalized comments about their favorite in-game videos, all via StreetPass.
The game also utilizes the AR card and photo capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS to bring characters to life in 3D.
“Hatsune Miku’s popularity in the West keeps growing, and we are proud to support such an amazing franchise with our games,” said John Cheng, President and COO, SEGA of America.
And so the Miku conquest continues…

they're finally listening to us. hopefully we can get the other project diva and spin off's as well.
Minus the shitty IA one.
It's not a PJD game, you bloody idiot!
it all depends how well it sells.
I hope they include the first one.
There's no reason for them to.
Project Mirai 2 already includes all the songs and costumes that Project Mirai 1 had, as wel as all the new songs and costumes. If you own Project Mirai 2 there is literally no reason to have Project Mirai 1 unless a)you bought PM1 before PM2 was out or b)you're a completionist who just wants it for completions sake.
I've heard of people who bought both PM1 and PM2 together when PM2 came out and I just feel sorry for them because they obviously didnt realize that PM1 is just PM2 with more than half the stuff missing.
The only thing I hate about the Vocaloid fanbase is the fact a lot of people seem to mistake Ranka Lee and Alto for Vocaloids. When the video says Macross Frontier you see some saying Gumi and Gacktpoid
FINALLY!!!!!
Europe (;___________;)
Miku conquers the world?
I for one welcome our new vocaloid overlords.
all hail miku!
Its an inevitably.
I'm so happy!!!!
