Atlus has revealed yet another Persona 4 spin-off in the form of “Persona 4 The Golden Animation” – sure to please Persona fans, or at least those who have given up on the prospect of ever seeing another Persona title on a modern console…
The anime is, unsurprisingly enough, an adaptation of “Persona 4 Golden” – the trailer:

The production will be handled by top anime sweatshop A-1 Pictures, and as long as a few more animators can be sacrificed to schedule will air in July.

Didn't watch the first animation of P4 until the end because the quality was worse from what I expected.
The P3 movie looked better though. I hope this will be better too.
I'm not gonna lie, this is a blatant cashgrab by Atlus/A1 studio and they need to move on from Persona 4 already as they've milked the cashcow enough. HOWEVER..
I'm still looking forward to this anime. I guess they'll just cover some new material besides the Marie stuff, like maybe animating more parts of the TV world and focusing on different parts of Inaba and maybe their investigations will go a little differently but will end up the same way lol.
They should have done some Persona 4 Arena OVAs instead and I hope they do.
If it's to see Marie in full animated glory than this a milking that's worth it.

Was there enough added to Golden to justify an entire new anime? Won't it just be the same thing all over again?
Well, maybe the characters will actually blink this time, instead of just staring on-screen with dead, unmoving fish-eyes during still frame scenes.

2015 isn't that far off, which means this game has been in development for some time now. Most likely with the same engine as Catherine.
They're not using the same engine as Catherine, they've said many times slowpoke that they're using their own inhouse engine that they developed just for this game.
Haven't kept up to date with the news regarding it, my bad.
I'm just guessing they had to take more time doing animation and facial expressions, since it will be on the PS3. Also their parent company going bankrupt and Sega acquiring Atlus also must have caused some delays.
I wish they would have milked persona 3 and 4 evenly instead of just 4, kinda miss persona 3's cast

What are you talking about? Both you and sankaku are behind the times - Persona 5 for PS3 was announced a while ago, to be released Q4 2014.

They already covered this in Persona 4 Golden, in the bath house scene. It was an anime cutscene. In real life terms she's packing DD Cups(At least in my honest opinion).
