The fact that they removed the male lead from Koihime musou in the anime adaptation, apparently made whatever little plot it might had plot a lot more boring.
Unless one is going for a yuri anime, the male MCs have their uses, even if they just act as plot devices and the centers at which the plot revolves.
It might be just me but I always did found anime (directed to males for fanservice) with girl only cast like strike witches did to feel kind of boring and empty outside of the onsen times.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble. You have obviously been following this anime but have failed to realize that despite the title "world conquest" is not the most important aspect of the show. It is the funny jokes which appear in every episode and make you laugh. If you are waiting for the conquest I think you will be disappointed.

I got draw in to this anime because of the awesome trailers but in the end I was disapointed because the story was completely incomprehensible and the anime was good only for fan service and jokes.
In the end I dropped it as I need my fix of good and enjoyable stories.
One could argue this anime doesn't even have a story. You have zero background information on the characters, there is no plot development whatsoever, just random happenings after random happenings and did I already say you have no background information on absolutely nothing on this anime? I like to at least know what the flying fuck is happening on a show I'm watching, like the MC reasons for doing what he's doing, how he obtained his power etc. This anime doesn't have any of this, it just throws some retarded and over the top characters with super powers or alien technology that want to conquer the world just because.

I was expecting an anime about someone trying to conquer the world and what I got was an ecchi anime with random things happening at each episode that don't even add to the story or connect with the subsequent episode, at least to the point I decided to drop this anime. I don't know what the hell the writers are trying to accomplish with this anime, but not even my friend who likes retarded anime that are only good for laughs and don't mind non-existent story/plot development couldn't bear to watch this. Just sayin'...
@06:50 not defending the anime here since I don't watch it, but what you described is also how a lot of critically acclaimed movies are... some things are just done differently compared to the usual standards, maybe the point went over most people's head? maybe the creators knew fully well what they wanted to accomplish with their anime and did that part well. I see it as a comedy too. But actually, if there's nothing sexy or erotic about a naked loli taking a bath (which should be true) then they shouldn't censor her. Scenes like this happened plenty of times in old anime and no one made a point of it. Why censor something that's not supposed to be sexual in the first place? Doing this kind of suggest the opposite. Unfortunately, it's a complicated matter these days... and even more unfortunately, there are pedos that will fap to this regardless.
I think they should just give them doll anatomy rather than censor them with soap and crap.
