This is such a great show, the bright spot of my week.

I haven't been completely sold on this show with episodes 1-4. When there's no character growth, no motivation for the villains, and everything returned to status quo at the beginning of each episode it's hard to get invested.
HOWEVER, this latest episode was fantastic. It was like a totally different show. I hope it continues in this fashion, or at least they could alternate between silly ones and more serious adventures.
The reason this episode was great for me is because previous episodes set the show up as whackness for the sake of being silly and this episode proved it can do touchy feely.

Space Dandy is one of the best shows ever. You have no taste!
It has some good aspects to its writing, and its art is obviously going according to plan.
I don't know if it's going to be as good as Ergo Proxy, but it's competing in a very different genre.
