Fans could be forgiven for thinking KyoAni is targeting an American audience, such is the sudden profusion of blood and guns in Kyoukai no Kanata‘s latest, with Mirai seeming unfazed by the blood stains all over her while Mitsuki has been hiding an arsenal somewhere.
Wow Leon, taking yet another misguided shot a the U.S. over something that the country has nothing to do with. Very mature and professional... but this is Sankaku so keep the xenophobia alive and well (thumbs up)
Not really offended myself, but I'm not sure what point he was trying to make. It's hardly the only anime with blood and violence, with guns or otherwise.
Oh boo hoo, you yank, if you're so offended by people saying your country is obsessed with guns then maybe people in your country should stop being so obsessed with guns.
What country are you from so I can tell you about the skeletons in their closet?
The point that was trying to be made was that every country has guns and uses them; its just that xenophobia has evolved from jealousy over America and the fact that it is the dominant power on the planet at the moment.
The less popular person hates the most popular person because he gets all the attention so they try to knock them down any chance they get to stroke their own ego. Your comment proves this because instead of doing research on the issue, you opt to say whatever bullshit propaganda the media in your country decides to spoon feed you.
So my question is simple, what country are you from?
Most Americans don't own guns or care to own guns. What we ARE obsessed with is personally liberty, and there's a downside to prioritizing liberty over public safety, and it's debatable whether our freedoms are worth the risks.
It's not debatable at all, the majority of crimes commited with a firearm is done so by someone who illegally has one anyway, so the right to have arms has nothing to do with the crimes commited. You never hear anout HOW the offenders got thier weapons have you? You also never hear about all the lives saved by firearms each day, it's the news just trying to get ratings by showing the bad things. I myself am alive today because i own a pistol, and i will pay back this favor to my firearm by defending the right to have arms where ever and when ever.
well one of our founding fathers did say that the man "who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety"
The liberty of America is not a gift as some would believe, but an individual burden which must must be shouldered by each person. One must always remember that it is your duty to defend the rights you bear and to not impede the rights of others.
As far as guns in America go it is seen as the great equalizer. It makes the poor man, equal to the rich; The weak to the strong; The old to the young. It is the absolute embodiment of defense of self, and the final protection of your rights.
If you disagree with those who hold that view point it is your right to do so, but you nor anyone else has the ability to impose on right that they hold.
It's ok, the MC is immortal! He just has to bear the pain as he does it while the blood is eating away at his flesh and he's healing at the same time >.>
I beg to differ, Kill la Kill is nothing but a bastardized version of FLCL or TTGL with more emphasis on service than actual content. The fights are good and I can kinda see a story behind all of the stupidity; I hope they pursue it instead of trying to show less and less clothing at every point they get.
I'm actually considering dropping Kill La Kill all together. It's like trying to get a mix of something in between Gurren and Panty and Stocking, but failing miserably at every point. On the contrary, and as you pointed out, Kyoukai no Kanata seems to be getting better (though that being said, I've actually thoroughly enjoyed it throughout, thus far)
Yes, it must be American to have guts and guns. No anime ever before in Japan has had these elements, why its uniquely American! Never before in the history of Japan were guns and blood featured in any animated story, before Americans started demanding it!
Yup. It's fuckin boring random trash, with garbage voices. Reactions to anything out of the ordinary are so fuckin stupid. This shit doesn't make any... More

the offensiveness is over for Leon. He's just a sad sad person
Who's too obsessed with To Love Ru.
I dunno, wait till Artifact starts his crap, or are they the same person?
Wow, I'm surprised Arte-kun didn't censor this.
Maybe it fell through the cracks?
Who cares? It's fun to watch people bitching about xenophobia over an anime related article in the comments section.
He has some personal issues. Maybe the vacation should have been extended.

tl;dr
Personal responsibilities a bitch.
Maybe your country should start using tooth brushes and stop drinking your muddy tea while queueing up to have gay sex on the tube.
Wow, you can't even get the character right holding the gun-spear. It is Sakura, the sister of the girl the female MC killed.
She didnt kill her, she was exorcised, she was possesed.
The moment it was revealed that her blood eats flesh, I thought "No defloration for you!". When did I become so rotten?
"The moment it was revealed that her blood eats flesh, I thought "No defloration for you!". When did I become so rotten?" -Rya
Well...if I could say it..then~
The moment when you changed your DP to Hikigaya, Hachiman(Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.) LoL
//Runs~
That's what your foreskin is there for. It's
like a ceramic heat shield for your dick.
It's called circumcision.

Isn't that only when she isn't wearing the ring she was given to subdue her powers?
This episode was interesting.
Damn you beat me to it, i should have scrolled down sooner.
Why would she be fazed by the sight of her own blood? Her entire life has been based around seeing her own blood.
Indeed. Her damn sword is made of her blood.
I just thought of something....if her blood can burn through skin, then she can basically never have sex, her cherry would destroy a penor.
Her Ring? DUH
The protagonist has regenerative immortality. He will be fine.
lol. you are wrong.
blood looks oddly like ketchup...
Way to CLOSE out these Omakes with a OPENING…
Bloody hell... Literally...
uhh, blood and guns have always been in anime.
Ah... don't feed the troll (Leon)... hear he looks and smells like a troll too.
What's with the "targeting the American audience" remark?
WTF? This is not 'FREE!'
Right? If it was targeting the american audience then there should be LARGE amount of boobage shown.
I didn't know wtf was going on in this ep. A brief recap would have been helpful.
Is this anime worth watching?
It's slowly getting better, but Kil La Kill seems to be the show to watch.

Idiots.
KyoAni finds a way. BD/DVD preorders have rocketed back up the charts.
Lame male and female protagonist.
The last time good thing about KyoAni is Hyouka.
That's the last good Anime from KyoAni.
It's ok, we know you secretly liked Free! - no need to be all ashamed.
^LOOK AT THIS GUY! LOOK AT HIM AND LAUGH!!!^
Nice try !
