    The difference is Rito actually gets some action. This clown Ichika has girls literally throwing themselves at him even though he has zero redeeming qualities, and then he ignores them all as if he prefers dudes. Its one of the most frustrating animes Ive ever watched.

    I think Ichika may have Asperger's.

    People with Asperger's have a very hard time deciphering body languange, double meanings and sarcasm.

    Unfortunately, this also means that any relationship he forms will only crumble later on. Divorce rate amongst Asperger's is VERY high.

    But even if all this is true, he'd still get a chance to at least bone those girls. So yeah, his luck is too good to be real.

    Doubtful.

    Look at it this way. They're in the same class or same school (and not a sex ed class, which could constitute an exception), meaning that if he isn't planning to fail, he may be forced to attend classes with people that don't really want to see him anymore - which is far worse than to attend them with people who don't want to see him first thing. The latter won't be as attached, won't know him that well and the matter won't be the talk of the entire social establishment. Familiarity can indeed bring contempt - and triteness and disappointment (not to mention possible special moves) are worse than a moderate distance.

    It's easier to outsource (or wait) than cope with a work environment contaminated by resentfulness. Which doesn't mean he can't pursue surefire prospects, but only as far as either he or them can afford to keep the situation and possible outcomes from affecting their daily schoolwork.
